I didn’t care much for Nicole, in fact, she down right got on my nerves with her hard posing, and immature attitude in general, but I was very sad about Paula Abdul!

Paula was amazing on that show, and had done miracles with the groups!

Too bad about the Welsh hottie too. He looked Clark Gable-ish in his suits. And his accent and the way he protected the girls made him all the more yummy. In my horny opinion.

  2. Jayna says:

Paula should stay. Mel B should replace Nicole. Steve was too wooden, needed to go.

Love Madonna’s new album cover. Very cool.

  3. Kimberly says:

I don’t watch reality tv, but I love hearing when Paula gets employment, or unemployed.

*the fact that people still watch reality tv makes me laugh. The bachelor! LMAO at the chicks who watch that crapshit!

If somebody gets fired from a show that nobody’s watching, does it make a noise?

OK, I am also confused with the JGL hipster thing. I thought he was a poster boy for an authentic hipster (not a poseur hipster). But in the video, his evidence against is that he wear Levis 501s. Joseph – so do most hipster guys I see.

Romney singing clip was nice. I say that we just have candidates sing now instead of debate. It might be more productive.

Speaking of singing, wow about Paula Abdul getting cut. Simon is ruthless!
    Love it.

    • MJ says:

I have no idea what makes a “hipster.” I think most people who call people hipsters are actually hipsters themselves.

However, Levi’s 501s are pretty much the most basic, common men’s jeans of all time. I don’t think they’re exclusively for hipsters (whatever that means.)

    • Kimberly says:

I guess I’m not seeing how someone who prefers their jeans actually be denim labeled anything, but a jeans purist.

I see the bigger question being, where did all the denim jeans go?

it you need stretchy jeans, buy a f–king bigger size.

I never really watched American Idol, so I was pleasantly surprised by Paula on the X-Factor. She seemed hard-working and genuinely invested in her groups. The problem is that American music is past the boy band/group phase, so there’s no place in the market for them. I HATED Nicole, tho! She wore the most ridiculous costumes (I can’t even call them outfits), and made everything about HER and not her acts. The fake crying, the fake humility, ugh. And, I kinda liked Steve Jones. He was like the love-child of Seacrest and Freddie Prinze, Jr.

Macarons, not macarOOns! Big difference. I love macarons, especially Laduree’s. I haven’t been to the NYC one yet- just Paris! Citron is my fave.

That looks like old school Madonna. Probably a wise choice.

  8. Amanda G says:

I can see why Nicole got fired, but Paula too? I never cared for Paula either but a lot of people do.

  9. shalibali says:

Did the right thing. These 2 really dont benefit the show that much. They are both too mushy mushy, and Nicole was not very respectful of Simon. She should be, as I think he is her boss. She was a lousy judge. And likes to get too much attention. Paula is ok but nothing great.

  10. Pia says:

I see Paula has one of those awful Swarovski-encrusted purses… and it’s a Pepsi can since they sponsor X-Factor lol. I can’t remember the “designer’s” name, but all she does is glue crystals to stuff and she is rich because of it… stupid Hollywood!!!

All I can do is laugh at that smug bitch Nicole. She was the absolute WORST on that show! A terrible mentor who tried to make it all about her every step of the way. I also couldn’t stand how she always seemed to knit pick at only the girls. She is the perfect stereotype of the bitchy pretty girl who tries to drag others down because she doesnt want anyone else to succeed

      Aaaah, remember Simon’s DOA?

Every pretty/sexy girl was considered Dead On Arrival because of Nicole’s bitch face, and un-openness to hear their performance.

      • apsutter says:

YES!!! Simon hated her because of how she treated his girls. And lets face it, he had some of the most talented performers on the show. I think he wanted to punch her out when the whole Drew thing happened. I just love how Nicole was so damn uppity and acted like she knew everything about being a superstar. Bitch couldn’t even get her solo cd released because no one wants to buy it. When she started singing Whitney to shut Simon up I swear my eyes almost fell outta my head from all the eye rolling going on lol

      • originalone says:

I personally liked how she stood up to Simon, she had a witty repartee that shut his snotty ass up, at times.

But it’s her unprofessional behavior, and lack of decision-making as a JUDGE, that had some of the best get rejected. The worst, was when that 13 year-old kid had to go give her a hug, because Nicole was crying too hard over the fact that she couldn’t make a decision, and thus got the kid’s ass off the show.

And don’t forget how she seemed to be always posing around her Josh Kracjic. She would just pose under the lighting, trying to tell him what he should do, and ends up talking about herself, and just having Josh looking at her like she was a tool.

  12. LindyLou says:

I bet Cheryl Cole is laughing her ass off at this XFactor news!

  13. paola says:

AHAHAHAH! The Kardashians look so stupid in that picture! especially the one on the left, i bet she had a stiff neck after the photo shoot. They used photoshop into oblivion because there is nooooo way they look so polished and skinny. God you’re so ridicolous!

  14. corny says:

I fired them all quite a while ago

  15. podzol says:

Speaking of firings … Swifty’s Éponine got RECAST by Samantha Barks (who portrayed Eponine in the West End’s Misérables). Ouch, that’s gotta hurt too. Especially after the whole week’s worth of papping while she was in London for its rehearsals…

  16. Keis says:

I liked Steve Jones. He was to the point and kept the show on time.
