LMAO at the image of Megan Fox with the headline “My Gyno Talked To My Vagina”. I know Megan didn’t say that, but it’s really cracking me up. Remember how Megan used to be all about the TMI in interviews, to the point where she was just making stuff up and talking out of her ass? For a moment, I was like, “Oh, she talking about her pap smears now. Good.” Anyway… Megan covers the April issue of Cosmo, likely to promote her small, supporting part in Friends With Kids. Megan is like… I don’t even know, the sixth lead in the film? And she gets a Cosmo cover for that? In addition to appearing on the covers of Miami and Angeleno Magazines? It’s overkill, which is Megan’s specialty when she’s promoting a film. That being said, I like the cover image a lot – great hair, and her face doesn’t look crazy and jacked. Here are some excerpts from the cover interview:
On her tough-girl image: “It’s because I have tattoos and I say curse words, and apparently, that’s crazy. I think maybe I give off this energy of seeming like I don’t give a f–k, and that’s misinterpreted. But I’m not wild.”
On first meeting now-husband Brian Austin Green: “I didn’t know who he was, since I was too young for Beverly Hills 90210. But the first time I saw him, I got butterflies. And the first time he casually touched me? There was so much electricity…. We’ve had obstacles, and we’ve overcome them. I truly feel like he’s my soul mate. I don’t want to sound corny or cliché, but I do believe we are destined to live this part of our lives together.”
On becoming a mother: “I want at least two, probably three [kids]. I’ve always been maternal…. I’m a homebody – I’m not wild.”

I will give Megan credit – she’s not a party girl. She’s not a Lohan. She’s not some high-functioning addict with famewhore tendencies. She can go months without getting pap’d. She only does interviews when she’s promoting something. I buy that she spends most of her time at home, with her husband and her stepson. And I kind of like her claim that BAG is her “soul mate” – it is corny, but it’s cute. It’s a new media strategy for Megan, and it’s working for me. Is it working for you?

I find the photo with the black line across the eyes hilarious. No need to black out the eyes. It’s Ryan Gosling! You can so tell because of the nose and head shape.

I’ve always liked her, despite the verbal diarrhea. Also, the quote: “I don’t want to sound corny or cliché, but I do believe we are destined to live this part of our lives together.” A great line with nice sentiment that can’t be thrown back in her face if they ever break up — Either she’s getting better counsel, better PR firm, or she’s grown/matured somewhat and actually believes this. Could be all-the-above, but heavier on option 3, which makes me like her more.

Personally, I’ve always liked Megan and felt she got crucified for calling out the industry.
I work in the industry. She wasn’t wrong about she said. Michael Bay is a &*(^, and people (women especially) get treated like meat.
I’m glad she’s continuing to make (somewhat) positive choices — sans the face-jackin’ — and that she’s finally getting some positive credit for a change.

i’m warming up to her as well. i feel like when she came on the scene she just played the “sexy bad girl” thing up b/c someone (an agent?) told her to. now that’s she’s been around for awhile, she’s learned the ropes and she’s finally being herself…which is way better! i totally buy that she’s a homebody b/c we rarely ever see her at any parties.

She’s always grated on my last nerve but I like her and BAG together. They seem to have something genuine because really, what’s in it for her? Not like the dude is some superstar. I’d personally be ok with her fading into obscurity. Agree with others that she is beautiful and seems like an ok chick. But listen-there’s no shortage of beautiful women skating by on mediocre talent in Hollywood, I don’t think losing Megan Fox would be a huge deal.

Cheesy, totally; but 7 years in Hollywood it’s like 14 human years. Plus, and I give her a lot of credit for this, when she was on top, she must have had a lot of pressure for breaking up with him, and do some pr hookup (can you imagine Megan Fox in the Transformers era dating Robert Pattinson??) but she didn’t.

Well, there was that brief fling with Shia LeBoff (which he conformed). I think she was on the verge of playing the trade-up-for-fame-game and started to believe her own hype (which is why she called out Michael Bay). However, when he smacked her down, it brought her back down to earth. Perhaps she needed that to regain her humility. Either way, I hope Bay and Shia get what’s coming to them because they are both a-holes of the highest order.

She’s always seemed like a socially backward, awkward chick who didn’t know how to handle the sudden popularity and fame. And that’s why she keeps jacking up her face, I think–complete insecurity.
Calling out MB wasn’t the smartest thing she could have done, but it was the truth, and I can’t blame her for telling it. Between MB and Shia LaDouche, she got a raw deal.

I think its narcissism. Dont think celebrities are excluded from this illness. Most narcissists (2 types: primary like the mom on Precious and secondary like a personality that is all about me!) are drawn to the limelight. I have dated girls like her who werent even THAT hot but thought they were and thought they could do it all. Not a humble bone in them. Not one genuine girlfriend either, just narcissitic supply yes people or guys they treetrunk. Severely insecure but grandiose over inflated confidence.
They are hard to spot but if you dont even look, you wont see it. I can see girls like her a mile away. They are not normal girls. (Strippers are also abnormal. Very psychologically and personality/character challenged.) They arent very bright either, just manipulative and charming. I dont think Michael was very wrong for pointing out how dumb she is and unfortunately it is a man’s world, what did she expect in Hollywood? Notice how smart women are hated by both men and women.
I think she is smart to stay away hidden and quiet so n one will find out. Notice how even other celebritiesdont know her. And enough with the surgeries. They dont fix insecurities but age the beauty that she had. I cant believe she is 25! Looks 35.

I like her more and more as time goes on. When I saw the first Transformers movie I couldn’t watch her acting and had to turn it off. I thought she was a flake and had an immediate hate-on for her until I started reading some of her interviews and stuff she has to say about her life and her hubby. She seems more down to earth than I would have expected and her love for her husband is admirable. It seems very genuine. I don’t know if her acting has improved because I think the last thing I saw her on was an episode of Two & a Half Men and I have no idea if that was before or after Transformers. BUT I do plan on watching Friends with Kids because of the Hamm dong…

Dating myself remember when HGB and Scavullo actually made cosmo relevant with great covers – not photoshopped – of 80s/90s supermodels; Megafarse is nothing compared to Niki Taylor, Yasmeen Ghauri back in the day;
I don’t like her her real personality came out in the second Transformer – spoiled, ungrateful, dislikable, so she has a better pr team now big whoop; she needs to go back to the trailer park and the teeter totter –

I’m starting to really like her quite a lot. I like that she’s humble enough to rebuild her career by taking small roles, rather than leads in shiteous films. I also think her long term relationship (VERY long by Hollywood standards) says good things about her. She can’t be *that* insufferable.

RE: Cosmo being irrelevant, as a former newspaper reporter who now spends my working hours troubleshooting workers’ compensation claims for pharmacies (ugh), I can attest to the fact that sadly, all print media is becoming irrelevant.

I think BAG isnt controlling but a sucker. I think he is too caring that his 2 women take advantage of him. Vanessa Marcil seems like a lil piece of work and even got $200k from him! And Megan seems liek she was made from that same thread as Vanessa. Maybe they are soul mates but I dont think it is all a healthy domestic life. There are rumors that they have had physical fights around Hollywood and an open relationship. I have seen abusive marriages last a lifetime and men get abused. Some men unfortunately like bitches just like some good girls like douchebags. I think BAG helps ground her but sometimes the person that helps the most, gets hurt the most. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with hot girls with no self-esteem. I dont trust Megan even with this new PR campaign. A lot of these types of people are the most likeliest to turn around and backstab you as fast as possible.
I also dont believe in soulmates. Its like winning the lottery. I have seen every type of marriage and personality types and compatiblity gets divorced. Since Hollywood is just as harsh as real life, I think its 50/50 or 75% of divorces. I am not even completely believing mine can last forever and its pretty good.

oh honey, those hot girls do not have low self esteem, they only pretend to be that way so people will approac them! they all secretly think wow i’m pretty hot. i’ve had some admit that to me and like you i also had bad experiences with them. they’re just so shallow that just because they’re hot they have a lot of self confidence when it should be based on one’s personality. as for megan though, none of this hot self is really her, and she secretly knows that, so i guess she does have low self confidence just a bit. that rippling forehead to prove she has no botox proved that she had waning botox but only around the arches of her brows. nobody’s forehead does that icky thing which is why the docs actually thought she would be capable of successfully photoshopping that. it’s a shame that she ran her mouth over and over in 2007 to establish herself as a bad wild girl a la angelina, whom she obviously wanted to look like. she posed like her over and over so just like the plastic surgeons i can believe she went to the office carrying a photo of jolie. that story of her getting lap dances from a non existent stripper turned out to be fake and then i saw her for the dumb ass she really is-did she think that wouldn’t come out? and in this age of information?
