Have you heard of this movie, Salmon Fishing In The Yemen? I’ve been ignoring the barely-there promotion for the film because I didn’t really want to research what it was about… but I just watched the trailer (below), and I’m now charmed with the idea. Ewan McGregor is some kind of salmon-fishing expert, and Emily Blunt is the woman trying to organize this grand project to make a man-made, salmon-stocked fishers’ paradise in Yemen, for the sake of having one positive story come out of the Middle East. Last night was the LA premiere of the film, with Emily and Ewan in attendance. Emily wore a Naeem Khan Fall 2012 dress, and black and white Gianvito Rossi Tuxedo shoes. I generally dislike Blunt’s style – I don’t think she really knows what styles and colors compliment her figure and coloring. And while I usually dislike this giant-skirted party-girl dresses, I’m actually liking this look on Emily. Her face looks kind of Botoxy, though. Anyway, here’s the trailer:
Cute, right? Is it just me or is something weird going on with Ewan’s teeth in the trailer and in these photos? Did he get some new veneers? Also – when I covered those photos of Ewan last week, a lot of you noted his “mid-life crisis” earring, which he’s also wearing in these premiere pics. Look, I’ve always thought Ewan was The Sex. But yes, he should lose the earring and get smaller veneers. Still, the man just knows how to STAND. He knows how to pose. He knows how to work an outfit. I love him.

botox has given her a lazy eye, was it worth it??. My little sister had the same problem as a kid and i still make fun of her early photos, does that make me a bad person ?
But was it actually the Botox? I, too, have had a lazy eye since birth, but it’s only in the last five years that it’s become obvious. My doctor recommended Botox to fix it, actually, but I’d rather just have surgery. Gawd, can you imagine if I had a paradoxical effect and it drooped further?
Trisomy X can cause it.

I usually don’t like these kind of dresses, but this one is really special.
Why do all women in LA, including young like Emily, insist on having Botox?
Lazer treatments seem much more effective in erazing lines and still maintaining your “old” face.

The shape of that dress is horrid. I have a much cuter, more flattering sundress with the same material on the skirt that I got for $15 at Kohl’s two years ago!
It’s not the botox or a wonky eye, is just badly-applied eyeliner!
I was thinking eyeliner and possibly false lashes. If you don’t apply lashes right, they can make your eye look droopy.
Botox droop typically looks different than what she has here.
She does look a wee bit Botoxed. Hope not, she doesn’t need it!
I like that dress, but it does add a lot of volume to her.
Ewan’s so beautiful… Why did he have to cheat on his wife? “Beginners” was such a great movie, but I wonder if his wife Ève cringes every time that movie is mentioned.
This new movie sounds like a silly story, but he’s worth it 🙁 I will always watch Ewan’s films or documentaries, but he would be oh so perfect if he werent so selfish.

Dress is awful – that print gives me a headache – and that print makes her look fat.

Ewan…ahhh! Loved the Beginners, very beautiful. I am watching his motorcycle-tour documentary Long Way Round and he makes me smile, and sigh!
Blunt is able to “absorb” the Botox, IF that’s what she’s doing (you know better than I), but, she has reached her limit. And I like my Blunt sleek, which this dress is not.
I love MacGregor’s veneers! They bring out his charm!
Please don’t let Emily Blunt be the next Kate Beckinsale, career-wise. This would be a terrible outcome.
She looks a little like Katy Perry if I squint.
I think the shoes are sort of cute, but that dress has way too much volume and makes her look bigger than she is.
