“Mrs. Kutcher” Demi Moore returns to Twitter, asks for name change ideas

This is a still from Demi’s upcoming movie with Miley Cyrus, LOL. People and Popsugar have new pics of Demi

Demi Moore is back, bitches! (I imagined Paris Hilton saying that in her bored whispery baby voice.) Earlier this week, Demi tweeted for the first time since January, sharing a self portrait of her legs and writing “testing.” Now she’s asking people for suggestions on how to change her handle on Twitter. Demi has kept her @mrskutcher username and was unwilling to change it back in December following her split. She wrote back then that “changing my twitter name isn’t a top priority right now. sorry it bothers so many of u. should I not tweet until I do?does it really matter?” She finally realizes that it does matter and is asking for help with a new moniker. She tweetedTime for a change, twitter name change… any suggestions?” It sounds like she’s finally ready to move on and stop fixating on Ashton.

Demi also made her first public appearance post-hospitalization and rehab. Last night she went to a party for the launch of Amanda De Cadenet’s Lifetime talkshow “The Conversation.” We don’t have the photos from that event, but People has one and you can zoom in them on Popsugar. Demi looks much, much healthier and like she gained some needed weight. She does look a little “refreshed” to me, but maybe that’s the positive effect the weight gain had on her facial features. (Or maybe/probably she got some fillers.) Here’s more on Demi:

Demi Moore made her first official appearance since getting out of treatment, showing up Tuesday at a Beverly Hills house party to support her close friend, British TV host Amanda De Cadenet.

Hosted by InStyle Managing Editor Ariel Foxman, the intimate gathering celebrated the April 26 launch of De Cadenet’s Lifetime interview show, The Conversation. Moore is both executive producer of the show and one of its inspirations.

“The conversations that [Demi] and I have on a daily basis really reflect the questions on the show,” De Cadenet, 39, said in this week’s PEOPLE, currently on newsstands. “She was a great sounding board. The spirit of the show is about women supporting one another so [working with her] was great.”

Before stepping out Tuesday night, Moore had stayed almost entirely out of sight since leaving treatment. Since returning from an island vacation with friends in March, she has in fact been lying low at her L.A. home, focusing on moving forward with her life and career, says a source.

Yay for Demi! It’s nice to see her getting back her mojo and looking sober and ready to face the world. I’d like to see her totally abandon Twitter and just keep a lock down on her personal life at this point. Small steps, I guess. I don’t know when I became such a Demi advocate, but I’m honestly happy to see her and am rooting for her. It was tough to watch her downward spiral and I’d love to see her give the proverbial middle finger to her stupid ex. Living well…

She looks to be at a good place here but the pictuer she twitted on twitter yesterday shows that she still not in a good place yet.

  2. Dredz says:

    How about “Demi Moore”…???

  3. lucy2 says:

Glad she’s doing better, but a big part of making better decisions would be NOT over-sharing on twitter all the time like she used to.

  4. Stubbylove says:

Let the Zen, philosophical, bs quoting and oversharing commence!

  5. birdie says:

I find her still pathetic! You ask your twitter followers for a new name? How about mrs.getalifeandactlikeagrownwoman

  6. reeda redneck says:

How pathetic. She needs to dump Twitter. She won’t because she is a twit herself.

  7. Kaye says:

I just saw some pics on Lainey’s site, and to me her face looks a little lopsided. Not like she’s had a stroke or anything, but just . . . different.

Or has she always looked like that?

The name of the movie does not bode well. Anyways i feel like she covets attention so much, she is insecure about people still wanting her, remembering her or at least finding her hot and cool. That she will still have a twitter.

  10. Ayame says:

Meh, her head still looks too large for her body. Or should I say her body is too small for her head. Hollywood must really warp their minds if they think having a Bratz doll ratio of head to body looks hot.

  11. Az says:

Every time I see Amanda De Cadenet all I can think of is that time she and Courtney Love showed up at some Oscars thing all twinsies in pale pink slip dresses, tiaras, the most garish red lipstick ever and looked zonked out of their minds. Demi’s new twitter name should be Huff the Magic Dragon. Or Kitten with a Whip.

    How about @whatwasithinking
