Claire Danes was on hand at the Tribeca Film Festival for last night premiere of Hysteria, which stars her husband Hugh Dancy as Mortimer Granville, the doctor who invented the modern electromechanical vibrator in 1880 (or so). Maggie Gyllenhaal, who stars in the film, was not present because, presumably, she’s getting some much needed rest while heavily pregnant with her second child. So we’ll have to get our female fashion fix with Claire, who wore a hot pink and black shift-type Narciso Rodriguez dress, which was slightly daring in its color choice but quite strange in the boob area. The top part of the dress squishes Claire’s girls and makes her look really flat, which she totally isn’t. I think this look is supposed to be “edgy,” but Claire pulled off that vibe a lot better in last year’s metallic blue Oscar de la Renta gown. She still looks quote lovely though even if her eye makeup is a bit too severe.
Hugh Dancy was there too, of course! He and Claire walked the red carpet separately — I guess because it’s his film, and Claire’s pink dress would’ve distracted from the red carpet’s rightful focus. Maybe. All I know is that Hugh looks like a British dreamboat.
Christy Turlington and Edward Burns were in attendance as well and dressed down for the event. Ed looks like he’s totally over this and would rather be a few steps away in his own Tribeca apartment. Can’t say I blame him.

O-m-g I forgot that Ed Burns existed and I lurv him. He’s so good looking and he still looks so good. Where’s he been? I am mad for Sarah Silverman’s dress. Can someone say whose it is?

Claire is very pretty, but I don’t think that dress is flattering to her bust. Hugh is hot. Christy apparently doesn’t age and I wish I could hang out with her. Sarah’s dress is unfortunate and she’s pretty and could look much better.

No. Just no. Sarah Silverman is not beautiful (or funny, but that’s a different rant). This dress may look nice on her, but let’s not go overboard.

claire danes – LOVE HER – she is flat chested, though…very much so…which isn’t a bad thing at all! sometimes her outfits are ill-fitting i think because she’s so tiny on top and thicker in the hips – though stick thin! just a disparity in proportion which makes it difficult to find the right fit…GOD, her husband is dreamy! his eyes are like angelic pools…

She has long torso and relatively short legs. She is very attractive though, has that litle extra something while beng quite unconventional looking. Probably helps that it seems that she has never had any filler or plumpers or whatever else one can do

Claire Danes used to be almost completely board-flat. I think I mused in another comment last week that perhaps she had had implants, but she’s still not very busty.

i don’t think it’s that beautiful but it’s clever. the colour is good on her and it’s smart yet makes her look younger. a few years ago she was looking haggard for some reason at the emmy’s. she seems to have reversed the rapid ageing somehow so kudos to her

I like it a lot, and I think her makeup looks great. I always thought she was pretty flat-chested, so I’m not sure it’s the dress’s fault that her bust looks so small.

VERY unflattering. The fit is all wrong esp in the chest area. She has to masculine/buff a body type for this style of dress.
I wish she would go back to her natural hair color which looks so much better on her. This is an awful shade of blond, with WAy to much red/orange in it, & she doesnt work as a blond at all.

Claire has the most beautiful eyes, her best feature. To me, the dress is just okay, but I agree, it draws attention to her smaller chest, but hey, I’m glad that there are women out there who are not getting implants and are okay with the way they look. A big breast does not equal beautiful by any means…Claire is very authentic, attractive and a talented actress.
