I work in a field that works closely with CPS and related fields. We see A LOT of sh!t and a lack of employees or a small budget is never enough of a reason for us not to act. Obviously none of us are involved in Octomom's exact situation. But I'm just saying "we've seen worse" isn't going to make anyone feel better when something tragic happens. I know reality.
