you hit it right on the head joel….many religions dont seem to practice what they preach to their congregations….My husband grew up Jehovah, but his narcissitic mother used the religion to punish him (ex: she would celebrate all the kids bdays but when it was his bday she would say “we r jehovah witnesses we dont celebrate birthdays” yet he still leans on the scriptures for when he is having a hard time. They are the most ridiculed religion and i dont understand why. One day they showed up at my door and i was sick with the flu….they didnt know me at all and yet they offered to go to the store if there was anything i needed, i told them i didnt have any money at the moment and they offered to take care of it, but i told them my mother was going to be there later but i appreciated it very much….cant remember the last time a person from any other religion has been so nice and concerned. Yeah really awful people….NOT!!!!

If people would just stop talking trash about something they know nothing about, i suggest that everyone who has a problem with Jehovah`s Witnesses and their believe just open your door and have your bible handy and ask them questions and see if they won`t back any answer they give with a scripture, and while you at it maybe if you visit their Kingdom hall.

I too have been warned about the contents of the Internet especially those not able to accept “the truth”. It wasn’t long ago that I myself feared knowing the truth and simply ridiculed the unknown. But as God’s own creation, I know I had to do/think/speak better and live life with a true purpose and understand love. For this I owe my life back to Jehovah and will dedicate my all to Him alone through His son Jesus Christ. I’m working on my baptism for this coming District Convention. I hope and pray that others will come to know God not only by name but an even more personable relationship like fellow Brothers and Sisters. Thanks Prince and I pray for your continued work.

I have to admit that when I first heard that Prince became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses I was pretty surprised. I mean I remember hearing about him in a jacuzzi of yogurt with Kim Bassinger!

Yet we have to remember what it says in the bible. We all have the opportunity to change our ways and receive life.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) 9 What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

Just because you have led an immoral life doesn’t mean that you are condemed forever. It just means that you have to change. Prince made the change…good for him.

I noticed many Jehovah’s Witnesses are upset when anyone has anything negative to say about their religion. I once wrote a blog post about my no so happy experiences I had with the Jehovah’s Witnesses as a kid. Yes they are nice people, but so are people from other religions. I even know non-religious people who are nice. Bottom line is there is freedom of speech here in the Western world, and for the most part on the Internet, so do not be so defensive if someone is not praising your religion. Jehovah’s Witnesses have said critical things about other religions, but do they stop to think about how those comments might hurt other people’s feelings? We are all entitled to our opinions, end of story.

All i have to say is that i would love for people to try to do what we do. People swear that they “read” their bibles but do you analyze on what you read? analyze before talking about what you have read.

JW’s do not deny Jesus as being the [Chief Agent] Jehovah has appointed to create all things. Nor do JW’s deny that Jesus is [a] mighty god, being the Son of [The] God Himself. JW’s have chosen to acknowledge and act upon Jesus’ own words John 20:17 “New American Standard Bible (©1995)
Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.” John 17:3 “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” JW’s worship the Father, who, according to the Jesus is “The only true God”. The Apostle Paul, a devout follower of Christ Jesus said this of the Father at 1 Cor. 8:5, 6 5For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
So, it seems very clear to me that Prince learned the truth of Jehovah and has decided to follow the footsteps of the Loyal Son, Christ Jesus, by worshipping the Father of all creation, Jehovah God.

I just found out Prince wasn’t gay today, man this is confusing. He looks too fruity. You see the woman he was with at the BET awards last night? She look like she services him with a toy quite well. Something is amiss here.
