I think a baby is her ace in the hole.

She’s holding off on a baby until the marriage is really in shambles and then she’ll go to a clinic and get IVF and be pregnant. I’m sure she has Lamar’s sample somewhere locked up in the freezer for that purpose.

Thank you ladies. Sincerely. Lindy, I’ve read about what’s going on with you on the Octo-loon thread. It sucks. I thought we were in it for the long haul too, but last night he said to me “I just want to be through with you.” If you knew our history, you would know how hurtful that was to hear.

We moved 700 miles away from my friends, family, and everything/one I’ve ever known to be closer to his terminally-ill mother and for a much lower cost of living.

Now that we’re here, his family thinks we’re here for their convenience; they’ve taken priority over our immediate family; they always want money, and act like they are entitled to both hubs’ money and time.

My family’s not like that. We love and support one another emotionally, but no one comes up to us and says “Well, I helped you work on your car, so you owe me $200. I need to use your lawn mower, but you need to bring it over here because I don’t have any gas.” (We have a CAR, she has a TRUCK, and we gave her $200 less than a week ago.)

I no longer have my union job (lost it right before we moved) so I have no medical benefits, and I need them.

I’m isolated from everyone and I haven’t told my family what’s going on because I’m embarrassed and humiliated. This was supposed to be the one that “stuck.” And instead, I’m the one who’s stuck.

I am so sorry to hear this. I promise you that while you may feel numb and crushed now, understandably, one day you will be okay and maybe even better. I have been through it once, friends have….we all ended up in such good places that in a strange way, looking back, it seemed like Life was just shoving us along to the places/nusbands/experiences that were really meant for us. I felt hit by seven trucks; ten years later I can look around and be grateful. And that all said, perhaps your stuation may turn around as that can happen too. Hugs to you.

Her ‘career’ doesn’t actually take any talent and will always be available; but as an athlete Lamar only has so many really good years and if the R-show is taking his focus away from basketball in favor of famehoeing, then they should take a break from the show. That is, if they really want to work on their marriage, we’ll see.

I love Khloe, but she does have the worst case of baby voice. I think she does it because she’s a tall, bigboned gal, and she subconsciously reverts to baby voice as a way to make herself seem small and girlish to others. I have to say I don’t get why everyone dumps on the Kardashians. Yes, Kim is vacuous and Kris is the momager from Hades, but all they did was put themselves out there, they didn’t force anyone to watch, read, or care about them. People tuned in so they continue to stay around. Where’s the crime in that?

Oh man, I’m so sorry to hear that:( I truly hope that however things play out, you end up stronger and happier and in a better place. But that’s pretty awful. I am exactly at the same place–11 years (this summer), 1 child, countless ups and downs. A particularly rough year (unemployment, moving, a house we can’t sell but need to…) means that things have been kind of rocky. Luckily, we’re both sort of in it for the long haul I think. But nothing’s ever certain. I wish you the very best. Hang in there.
