He should have had a chance at a good life when he lost weight. I took my dog to the vet this week and was told she needs to get 5 to 8 lbs off her weight, I will work hard at this now after reading this story. We love our animals and we sometimes give them treats that are not good for them. I have to remember this I am so sorry to hear about Meow. Meanwhile this poor little guy probably suffered most of his life due to his extreme weight. Obese animals suffer just as much as humans, from joint pain, heart burn, headaches, stomach ulcers, you name it. Who ever 'cared' this cat should be ashamed of themselves. It's disgusting to treat any living creature this way. Not realizing that this is harmful, shows a complete lack of common sense. Yes yes fat cats are so much cuter.

She didn't want to be a victim she didn't want people to pity her so she went to the other extreme of being obnoxious. She wants to be offensive and look tough. Girl needs some serious therapy. We are their caretakers. If the same thing happens to a child, which is also in our care everybody would be enraged (or I at least hope so) because it is so unhealthy. His mother (my other cat) has died about 1 month ago - she just disappeared one night after cuddling with us for the day - so by now we are petting him like there's no tomorrow, and he's taking advantage of it LOL. It doesn't help that he's a very BIG (heavy and long) cat and lazy - we always joke saying "But he's BIG BONED!" :D Aw, thanks.
