I’ve lost count of how many times Gisele Bundchen has been to the Met Gala. I only started paying attention when she and Tom Brady began walking the red carpet together. It’s now become an annual thing, and one of the few times in any given year when Gisele and Tom actually pose on a red carpet together. For this year’s Met Gala, I don’t really think Tom was at his best. Honestly, he looks pretty rough. And yes, his hair is really doing that. Did Gisele put him up to that? He’s said before that she’s in charge of his hair. Did she style him?
But Gisele looks good. She’s wearing this black Givenchy, which fits her like a glove. Gisele in Givenchy… it’s kind of boringly beautiful, right? I like it better than the red McQueen she wore last year, but this look feels like something we’ve seen a million times before, on many, many different girls. It also feels like this dress was Gisele’s second choice? Like she had something show-stopping as her first choice, but decided to go more low-key in black. The only thing I can really nit-pick on the dress is the weird front slit. I’m not opposed to a sexy slit, but I’m not sure if it fits on this dress.
I like the simplicity of Gisele’s styling – small earrings, no necklace, no bracelets, simple makeup. Dislike the hair – the Croydon facelift is not Gisele’s friend.

The dress was presented in gold at the runway, and it was amazing. The black took the beauty of the dress away.

I think she looks stupid. I get that she’s a “model”, but it’s like she’s making “mocking a model” poses. Both their hair do’s are don’ts, in my opinion.

She actually looks quite lovely and feminine in the top two pics – for someone with no curves and a somewhat mannish jaw – but then unfortunately so does her Yoko-Ono’d lesbian life partner.

I like the dress. Everytime I see her face, I’m shocked at how plain she is to be a supermodel, but she has a great body. Tom looks like he also borrowed Ben Stiller’s ‘hair gel’.

As Giselle matures, her face just keeps getting more manly. She needs the long hair to frame and soften the plainness of her face. The Jolie leg is fun but the dress looks sooo boring in that color, even when it’s on that body.

Kaiser ITA, variations of this dress have been worn before (most recently by Kristen Stewart at a premiere – right down to the leather belt!). So, while she looks great in the dress, I am not sure why she would choose a recycled look for this event.

I don’t get the appeal of this woman. I don’t even find her attractive. She was even less so before her plastic surgery. Yes, she has a model’s body, but the face? Homelier than a hedge-fence, sorry. I liked Tom Brady more with Bridget Moynihan.
