I barely know what to say about these two girls, Lea Michele and Kate Bosworth. I kind of wonder why I’ve never thought about comparing the two of them before. They’re very similar – in that they both approach the red carpet with a sense of hunger. Actual hunger, because, let’s face it, there are real concerns about when these two ever eat solid food. And metaphorical hunger, the hunger for fame, the hunger to be recognized, the hunger for acknowledgement that they are truly fashionable girls.
Lea Michele wore Diane Von Furstenberg – it’s kind of boring, but I genuinely like this on Lea. It flatters her figure, the color is great on her, and she styled it beautifully with the matching clutch (too matchy-matchy, but I think it’s fine) and the drop necklace. Great hair too.
As for Kate Bosworth in feathered Prada. You know what the worst part is? Sienna Miller did this look in a now-infamous Vogue spread in 2007 (infamous because it was the subject of The September Issue). Sienna was styled with an extremely high, tight bun, and the theme of the pictorial was “feathers”. Why is The Bos so dated? Why is she the most boring feathered person there? Why did she choose that lip color? So… The Bos is my choice for the most try-hard person in this post. Lea Michele’s hungry, as always, but The Bos was a disaster.

They both look amazing! I’d kill for Leah’s dress and Kate is just stunning as always. IMO Kate’s one of the most gorgeous girls I’ve ever seen. A+ for both.

Lea looks lovely; she is toned and trim and the color suits her. Bosworth looks like a q-tip with black ear fuzz.

Love Lea’s dress. Don’t like Kate’s at all. Kate’s topknot really makes the fact that she has thin hair stand out. Her hair is probably thin from not eating properly…or at all.

I don’t love the glitter on Lea but overall it’s a nice look.
Bosworth, however … the hair is so bad. It really shoves her too-thin hair in your face and highlights her uneven hairline. And her clenched jaw. Why do skinny girls do this? The pinched mouth and clenched jaw and general look of constipation? It’s not cute.

I like Lea’s look although it was boring and didn’t stand out. Kate’s hair was pulled so tight, her face was frightening. I couldn’t get past it to the dress.

Leah is strutting her stuff like she is the next coming of Marilyn Monroe, clearly in her own mind already a legend. When she tries to jut out that non-existent boobage it just looks painfull. Like she might actually be having neck spasms or something. The hair does not improve the look, either. It’s like a 40-something B-movie star from the 60-70′s was coming down the carpet. HUGE MISS!
As for Kate – why is she even here?? At least Swank makes a movie once a decade, but this one? What the heck has she been in lately to justify her constant parading on red carpets on both sides of the Atlantic? I do not hate her look, per se. I guess I just can’t stand her, so she is ruining it for me. Girl, if you’re that f-ing skinny, do not pull your hair into such a tight granny bun. Makes you look ready to break at a tiniest wiff of wind.
Both are BAD, but at least Kate is behaving like a normal person. Leah definitely takes the cake for me, what with the pathetic attempts at ‘sexiness’ that actually look totally hilarious on her.

Kate looks amazing i really like this look on her BUT not for this event if she would have worn this to the grammys it would have been perfect but for the met gala is a big no.

I like the composition of Kate. Just was unhappy in his position. I like the color of lipstick and dress. And she has a beautiful face.
Lea: I do not understand how a woman without breasts that wears a dress. Front looks like a man. Leah always seems very artificial carpet. She makes a lot of poise. If you think the maximum. But in reality has no height nor beauty to such prominence.

I think this is one of KB’s worst looks ever. First she is about 3 different colors which is weird, that bun on her head is pulled so tight you feel looking at her that her eyes are going to pop out of her head and with her ears, how can her people let her wear her hair like that.
I am sorry with the fact that the girl has no skin tone at all, why would she wear that color lipstick, not everyone can pull off such a dark shade, and I know that the dress was made by Prada, but it definitely wasn’t appropriate for the MET GALA. Just look at all the wonderfully beautiful and talented women at this event and look at what they were wearing, I mean seriously, I believe someone posted that it was more of a Grammy dress or even maybe a small red carpet event, but not the MET GALA.
The fact that only two or three gossip/fashion sites are even mentioning her, shows that finally even the paps/columnists realize what the majority of us have known for a long time, KB is a void, a useless human being, who will and does anything for attention.

Lea ought to get that big honking nose of hers cut down. She looks like an ant eater. Maybe the Bos can suggest the plastic surgeon who did all the work on her.
And really, the stance the Bos affects with her pigeon toed “am I not adorable?” pose……she’s just plain annoying and has the worst taste in Hollywood.
