Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill have shared their entire journey trying to conceive a baby. From their two rounds of unsuccessful IVF, to Giuliana’s cancer diagnosis, to her double mastectomy and reconstruction, to the happy news that they’re expecting via gestational carrier, it’s all been shown on their Style reality show, and used to promote the show in interviews. They even recorded a video message for their future baby and shared it with the public – before they even knew they were having a baby. This is how “open” this couple is, although I believe it’s more about marketing their personal lives. That’s ok, that’s their job as reality stars and I do believe they’ve helped a lot of people by sharing their story. So you’ll excuse me if I call bullsh*t on this claim by Giuliana Rancic that she’s not yet sure whether she’s going to put her soon-to-be-born baby on television. Wasn’t that the whole point of all the lead up? Here’s what she told E!
As for her bundle of joy, Rancic won’t reveal the gender but did say that she has started picking out baby names. “It’s not going to be a Hollywood-type, weird name that people can’t pronounce,” she said. “I think it will be traditional but not used frequently.”
Rancic also has to decide whether her baby will be featured on her reality show Giuliana & Bill. “We’ve thought about that,” she said. “It’s definitely come up in conversation, and it’s this sort of thing where I think we just need to have the baby first and then figure out is this going to work or not.”

Maybe I’m being too influenced by E!’s take on Giuliana’s comments, and she’s just saying that it might be a crazy time for them and they’re not sure if they can continue filming right after their baby comes home. I tend to think that they don’t have to think twice about it, and that this is what they’ve been waiting for all along, so of course the child is going to grow up on television. This is what they do, they put their lives on TV and their kid(s) are going to be on TV too. I would like to be wrong, I would like for Giuliana and Bill to put the kibosh on their show and say that they want to focus on their child and on giving him or her a nice, normal life outside of television. Wouldn’t that be something, for a couple to give up fame and cash for the baby they’ve waited and hoped for for years? Yeah, that’s not going to happen.

I think it’s mainly because she’s so skinny. Her face has NO fat and her cheekbones, eyes and forehead look huge in comparison to her lack of facial fat. She’d be so much prettier if she gained weight.

I’m sorry she’s had to endure breast cancer and infertility, but I still don’t like her. I’m tired of seeing her everywhere and all her kissing up to celebs. I don’t find their life all that fascinating. (Guiliana’s life. I find celebs lives endlessly fascinating)

I have to agree with you. I feel bad for the cancer and infertility, but I still find her very unlikeable. In other words, I hate for anyone to be ill, but it doesn’t make me like them.
Agree 1000%. I just feel that she is so smug. I’m sorry about the infertility and the cancer, but it just seems like she felt she was doing a favor to all woman who suffer the same things and I hate when celebrities do that. They are not the same, most woman don’t have the resources or the money. Okay, off my soapbox.

They really should have adopted. The kid would have at least had a chance of being attractive. Or maybe they should have let his sperm make a baby with the lady that’s cooking their kid.
The should have adopted because there are kids already born who need adopting.
If they want to be parents so much, to unconditionally love a child, then step up and stop selfishly creating one in their own image in a lab. If they were meant to reproduce, it would happen naturally.
Because creating children “in a lab” is no more or less selfish than making them the old-fashioned way. So if either if you have biological children, feel free to sit your hypocrite asses down.
It’s actually illegal for a gestational carrier to use her own egg. They consider it selling a baby. Absurd but true.
I don’t think they could adopt at this point because of the breast cancer. At best, they would have to wait several years more before they would be eligible again. So this was pretty much their last option. My guess is that they really haven’t figured out yet if they want the baby on the show and probably will not be settled about it until after the baby is safely born and in their arms. They’re not quite Kardashians, after all, who will undoubtedly next stick a camera into Kourtney’s uterus to film scenes with the fetus.

They’re probably waiting to see whether the baby is attrative enough for television. Maybe if it’s too fat, she’ll put it on a starvation/purging diet like herself, until her baby is praying-mantiss-thin and has a receeding hairline. THEN it will be fit for public glorification.

I agree it would be nice to see them turn the cameras off and give the kid a chance at a private life, but I’ll be flat out stunned if that happens. It should though, after everything they’ve recently been through, they should appreciate their family and protect it, not sell it on the E network.

As a breast cancer survivor- I am in awe that she was able to go back to work on E as quickly as she did. So she must be a tough cookie. Took me a month.

As far as going back to work, the time frame might depend on what was done (lumpectomy vs masectomy, etc.). Nothing wrong with a month recovery either. Sometimes you need to recover emotionally as much, if not more, as physically.
As far as G being so thin, when I see her on TV she just looks so frail and it’s a little uncomfortable to see that.

Her cancer scare attention is dwindling down so now she needs to drum up some more with the whole pregnancy thing. I watch her show at times and was irritated when Bill redid his moms home as a surprise and they went shopping at TJMaxx .. don’t get me wrong I love The maxx but them? There are so many furniture stores in Chicago and some cheaper or same price as the Maxx with much nicer selection .. and of course the whole show was filled with TJMaxx commercials so I am kinda sick of their Kardashionesque shilling, selling and fame whoring.

I know why Bill Rancic is famous, but I can’t understand for the life of me why his wife is. I assume she’s an announcer of some sort or has some 4th-rate cable network show gig…? They seem like good people, but they are not interesting people, and therefore whoever is shoving them down our throats must cease.
I think she’s attractive, especially when she’s without make-up. I wish her nothing but good things, she’s been through so much, I respect the way she’s dealt with her cancer and infertility problems.
