Her and Lockwood are good for one another. And i Love her voice and her music. Shes the best song writer to come along in years, with a bluesy, sexy, soulful voice! I had to tell her that I wouldn't be participating, and that I didn't want her to ask me about it again, because I didn't like their methods and thought it was cult-like. To her lasting credit, she didn't keep on with the hard sell after that (which is why we're still friends, although we don't speak often). Landmark's not in the same league as Co$, in that they don't exert nearly the same level of control over the people they suck in, but I agree that Landmark is mainly a Ponzi scheme preying on people who need a feeling of emotional uplift and are willing to pay for it. Landmark Forum. Now something that happened to me last year makes total sense. I have a friend who invited me to attend a session because in her words, 'my mind would be blown away!' When i got there, it was group testimonial session about the wonders of Landmark Forum . sHOwever, she was very aggressive about introducing me to the higher ups, and at lunch around a group table, the other converts were all about how their lives had been changed by Landmark. when i made non commital noises, i got the hard sell from all of them and how my life would be changed by them. LIke an idiot i agreed to go into the afternoon session but after ten minutes i had to get out of there. It was really hard to extricate myself from the room. At every step, someone would block my path and give me the Landmark sales pitch all dressed up in concern that i would lead a much better life if i signed up and took their courses, all of which cost ££££. In the end i handed over false contact details to get out of the room. For weeks after that, my friend would call and invite me to another session, and i would find an excuse not to go. Until finally i told her i would never be interested. She gave them my real contact details which they followed up on. I had to send a cease and desist letter which made them stop.
