These are some photos from the LA premiere of What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Jennifer Lopez didn’t even bother coming to the NYC premiere last week, so she dutifully came to the LA premiere last night, and she even brought her boy-toy Casper Smart. Although… Jennifer and Casper didn’t do a lot of posing together on the red carpet. I think Jennifer has that as prerequisite of all of her men: they are allowed to come to her premieres and functions, but they must allow her to pose alone for all of the fashion shots.
Jennifer wore this Maria Lucia Hohan that I’m really not in love with. I like the idea of it more than the execution – Jennifer SHOULD be covering up more often, I think. She loves fashion, and she loves to play around with her look, and I kind of like it when she does this 1970s style with exaggerated sleeves and dark makeup. Unfortunately, this gown is just horribly unflattering on her. The color is just a shade too light, so it washes her out. And it’s simply too oversized, and it makes Jennifer look twenty pounds heavier than she actually is. The lip color is awful too, I think. My favorite thing: that ruby ring.
Jennifer also spoke to E! News on the red carpet, but I didn’t find it all that interesting. She talked about Casper and said they don’t plan out how they’re going to work a red carpet – “He just does what he wants to do. He knows I’m working, and we just play it by ear. We don’t try to plan it too much. It’s a special occasion.” And Jennifer lets Casper speak for himself. This boy… he’s so gross.

Agreed…not JLo’s best look at all. I will never get used to the Casper hate, though. Come on…he is just a kid! What do we expect to come from his lips – words of wisdom? Can’t help hating on JLo for latching on to this kid and propping him up to be devoured by the public. If he’s her love interest, keep in private. She’s making a fool of herself and setting this kid up for huge disappointment and public scrutiny. I’ve said it before – I’d be furious if I was his mom!
Since when is 25 years old a kid? There are people married and raising their own children at 25. And if he didn’t want the attention he wouldn’t be talking to the press. This guy is a gold digger , hanger on and a disgustingly ugly one at that. But thats what Lopez is attracted to so whatever
I was married at 22, so I understand your point, but 25 today does not an adult make. Most 25 year olds today are still very immature because their parents sheltered them. It’s a known generational thing…the generation before did their kids a disservice by overprotecting them. The outcome? A very immature generation. So I believe that this kid is still emotionally immature. And if you listen to him speak, it’s obvious that he is not wordly, not wise beyond his years and JLo is acting like a fool. Just my opinion…
I’m not remotely a fan-but I think she looks fantastic. Usually her taste in clothing is about as great as her taste in men.

Um, this is awkward but…”Count Crackula” is a reference to Lindsay Lohan, as is obviously the play on words with “Ho”-han. So, nothing to do with Romania, or vampires, at all actually….
It’s not a good look. Makeup is too dark, hair are too messy, and she looks heavy in this dress.

I think she looks beautiful. Its a different look for her and I love it, very feminine and classy. It may not be the best dress for helping her look slim but she wears it beautifully.

I’d like to see her more covered too, but this dress doesn’t fit. The sleeves and the hem are too long and the underskirt looks strange. Looks matronly instead of simple.
I am not enjoying all these sheer skirts with panties and slips showing through.
Although I do not consider JLo a tasteful dresser, she usually wears what flatters her body. I don’t understand why she would wear this dress, which hides her assset.
Something about dark lipstick and nightgowns just doesn’t mix.
i don’t like the dress, and the makeup is too severe, but i am glad to see her with amore natural hair color. i really disliked how much she lightened it over the past few years.

Definitely do not like this look, at least not on her. I hate that she always wears the open front look so that her breasts can always be seen, yawn….the coloring of this gown together with her makeup looks unflattering and makes her look unwell. At least she’s not wearing another skin tight number with everything showing up front. Personally, cannot take much of JLo and would be happy not to have to see her ever again….
Agree with all of this… she decides to ‘cover up’ here, but still has to have a ‘neckline’ that plunges to the waist with her breasts hanging out.

Whenever she does that hooded lid, parted lip thing, she looks like this old guy at my gym. He always goes around like he’s judging people, but the heaviest weight I’ve seen him push was the door!
