Lea Michele in a low-cut, tight Amen dress in NYC: flattering or uncomfortable?

There was some discussion yesterday about Taylor Swift’s Bolt-On Watch and whether or not the previously A-cup Swifty had actually gotten surgically enhanced or whether she was just discovering the joys of push-up bras, falsies and those stick-on cutlet things. I still think Swifty got enhanced, but many of you disagree with me, and that’s fine. I have to admit, I’m not always great with discussing the smaller-breasted – I can’t even remember a time when my cups were not running over, as they say. It’s not a judgment – I would love to experience the joy of wearing any kind of blouse without looking like a tacky hooker. I would love to work out without worrying about strapping down my puppies with two minimizing sports bras. I’m jelly. I’m also trying to explain why my perception is off as far discussing smaller boobs – I just don’t know.

So, with all of that in mind, let’s discuss these photos of Lea Michele outside of The Late Show with David Letterman. Even though I’m bad at this stuff, I don’t think Lea got bolt-ons. That’s the obvious discussion point, I guess, because Lea is usually pretty small-looking. Like, here’s what she looked like last week for the Fox Upfronts:

She’s very petite, but she’s got a little something and they’re perky. I didn’t realize how perky they were until I saw these Letterman photos, though. She’s getting some help, right? The dress itself is designed to lift and push her boobs out, but I also suspect Lea is wearing falsies too. Or am I hallucinating the whole thing again?

Oh, and the dress is by Amen, a label I’ve never heard of. It reminds me a bit of old Tom Ford for Gucci, back in the day. And while her hair is pretty and healthy-looking… for God’s sake, she does NOT need those bangs. I feel like the bangs are Lea’s attempt to look younger (she’s 25 years old).

Surprisingly, she looks good! And not as try-hardy as on the red carpet. Baby steps. And no, those are no bolt-ons, they’re rather taped-ons, as in taped up and pushed closer.

  2. David says:

    She looks great!

  3. Me2 says:

Nice photo opp in front of the dumpsters. Really?

  4. nikzilla37 says:

They are doing something to her face too. If she got bolt-ons, she got the most natural, beautiful ones available.

  5. tracking says:

She has a great figure, but the clothes wear her not the other way around. Still too strong a whiff of try imo.

  6. Suzy (from Ontario, Canada) says:

I think she got her breasts done. You can always tell by the way they are in the middle…they don’t come together the way real ones do, there’s always a space.

    • janie says:

Well, that also happens when a thin, small-chested woman uses padding to create cleavage. I can never make my boobs come completely together.

  7. RocketMerry says:

    “She’s 25 years old.”
    Yeah, right.

  8. Nubiahbella says:

Not a fan of the makeup or dress (too much boobies out in my taste) but she has very beautiful hair, so healthy looking and shiny.

What drives me crazy about really talented singers like Michele, Mariah and Christina: Isn’t it enough to be cute and crazy talented, without trying to be a sex bomb as well?

Leave the sexy to the girls who don’t have talent and just wow us with your awesome voices.

      +1! Love this^.

I think it’s gotta be hard to be a not traditionally ‘beautiful’ girl in Hollywood, whether you’re super talented or not. I’m a tall, redhaired Jewish girl (well, woman now) who grew up in a mostly Hispanic/Asian community where I was practically a freak of nature. Even knowing that I was more academically focused and musically talented than many of my classmates didn’t prevent me from still craving to look like the socially accepted ideal of attractive. Lea Michelle also spends all her time on camera on Glee dressed very young so I don’t blame her for wanting to glam and sex it up a bit when making non-Glee appearances.

When you look closely her face has been shaded and contoured to within an inch of its life.

I would feel like the biggest drongo (Australian term = idiot) going out with all that Touche Eclat all over my nose and under my eyes, and then bronzer cunningly contoured around my nose to make it a wee bit smaller and my boobs taped into oblivion and a fake fringe clipped in and then…TAKEN OUT AND PHOTOGRAPHED IN A BACK ALLEY IN FRONT OF ALL THOSE STINKY BINS!

But hey, thats Hollywood for ya!

    • Neelyo says:

You’re right. She looks like she’s wearing stage make-up.

Poor thing. She does try so incredibly hard, I guess I should give her an ‘A’ for effort.

Now that you say that, I’m noticing her face and neck are completely different colors. Too bad. She always just misses the mark.

  11. Happymom says:

She is looking so happy and not so try-hard recently. It must be love with that cute guy from Glee.

  12. Aiobhan says:

I would love the dress if the strap across the top of the chest was removed. Otherwise this dress is really cute.I do not like white because I am always afraid that my messy ass will look like a Jackson Pollack painting by the end of the day. But the color works against her skin.

  13. Jackie says:

what awful taste she has. hair, makeup, dress…all of it. just bad.

  14. Meece says:

In the last picture, her face is such a different colour from her body it a lot looks like a bad photoshop job of her

  15. Kaboom says:

That wouldn’t look bad if it wasn’t for the bangs.

  16. Fyofeelings says:

    A pretty tranny.

  17. Marion says:

She’s sooo trying to be KK… Pathetic!

  18. jesstar says:

I actually like this on her. Although I think she shadded and contoured her cleavage aka pulled a Stodden.

  19. Amanda says:

Gorgeous and I actually like her with bangs!

  20. Laine says:

Her makeup looks awful here. But looked good on Letterman. Her body is slamming and at least she didn’t also simultaneously hike up the hemline but 10 inches. She was funny and happy and not grating during the interview so I’ll call it a win. Those breasts are definitely contoured and pushed up to their fullest extent, not an actual boob job. I also wish she’d get rid of the bangs though.

  21. Kim says:

Trying to make her chest look bigger and she looks like a hooker. These bandage dresses are the epitome of classless.

  22. Abby says:

Label me a Gleek but I think she looks beautiful.

  23. Exoticarr says:

she always looks good on the red carpet. I love the way she struts her style. I remember Sarah Hyland once mocked her facial expressions, but sorry Sarah, you look like a 12 year old and your body doesn’t develop, stop the hate.
