Masseur-gate: John Travolta’s team is trying to discredit John Doe #2

We didn’t have a John Travolta/Masseur-Gate story yesterday! Did you miss the Masseur-Gate scandal? I didn’t. Although I find the daily revelations interesting, there’s a weird vibe to everything. People are comparing it to the Tiger Woods Mistress Spectacular, but really, Masseur-Gate is just creepy and sad and there’s an element of danger too. Like, I’m worried about all of the dudes coming out to claim Travolta groped them. I’m worried about the Church of Scientology’s repercussions. Not just for the accusers, but for Travolta as well. For now, Travolta’s lawyer seems to have finally found a way to discredit John Doe #2. Remember, Travolta’s lawyer went after everybody else’s claims specifically and Doe #2 (the Georgia masseur) was left relatively unscathed (which made me think his claims were true). Well, I’m still not going to print Doe #2’s full name (he can go by “Casey” for now), but enjoy this hit piece about Doe #2 being a skeeve.

John Travolta sexual battery accuser John Doe #2 (Casey) once held the position of a spa massage manager and lost his job after he was fired for inappropriate conduct, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Before filing a lawsuit against the Hairspray actor for an alleged incident he claims occurred in Atlanta, Casey worked at the Ballantyne Day Spa and Resort in Charlotte, North Carolina — until nearly eight years ago.

“Casey was the massage manager at the spa and he was fired for being sexually inappropriate with clients and coworkers,” an insider exclusively revealed. “Ironic, since he’s now accusing John Travolta of the doing the same thing. As far as I know Casey was only inappropriate with women, but he definitely crossed the line!”

According to the source, Casey would remove the sheet placed over women when it wasn’t necessary and would wrongfully touch their breasts.

“Complaints were made. He was a total creeper and it didn’t surprise anyone when he was let go,” the source said. “His reputation was ruined in North Carolina so he left the state for the sake of his career, but I don’t think it’s something he can ever escape.”

As RadarOnline.com first reported, Casey filed a $2 million sexual battery lawsuit under the anonymity of John Doe #2, alleging that Travolta solicited him for sexual favors while giving him a massage in his Atlanta resort hotel room in January, 2012.

Travolta’s attorney, Marty Singer, has vehemently denied all allegations.

Casey dropped his original attorney Okorie Okorocha and is now represented by Hollywood hotshot Gloria Allred who told us, “The numerous attempts by supporters of Mr. Travolta to discredit John Doe #2 will ultimately be unsuccessful.”

Ballantyne Day Spa and Resort declined to comment.

“IRONY!!” screams Marty Singer. “We’ll win this case because of IRONY!” So, I don’t know if Doe #2 is really a “creeper” but it could be. I do think it’s sketchy that Travolta’s legal team and his church and his supporters have been investigating the accusers and all they could come up with are eight-year-old claims of improper sheet draping. But here’s the real question – why does everyone assume these two claims are mutually exclusive? Can’t an improper sheet draper be a victim of John Travolta’s groping hands just the same as anyone else?

Meanwhile, Doe #Gym Employee has now gotten a lawyer too.

The gym employee who accused John Travolta of groping him against his will has hired a lawyer to explore possible legal action against the actor, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As we previously reported, the fourth man identified in the John Travolta sex scandal alleges he would open the gym for Travolta after hours when he was on location for a film shoot. “The gym was opened as a courtesy to John Travolta so that he could avoid the public yet maintain his fitness in this physically challenging role that he was doing at the time. The gym employee says that Travolta groped and fondled him against his will,” a source close to the situation previously told RadarOnline.com.

Travolta’s lawyer, Marty Singer has vehemently denied the allegations.

The personal trainer/gym employee “has formally hired a lawyer to explore possible legal action against Travolta. There could very possibly be a lawsuit filed, and there are certainly going to be more cases that the lawyer is going to be taking on in regards to sexual misconduct accusations against John Travolta. These potential cases are well within the statue of limitations, and the men are extremely credible,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com.

So far, seven men have been identified in the John Travolta sex scandal, which includes three masseurs. Singer, previously told RadarOnline.com, “As a result of the published lies about my client we expect some ‘John Does’ to come out of the woodwork and assert false claims.”

I’m kind of hoping that all of Travolta’s victims end up represented by Gloria Allred and this becomes the biggest class-action lawsuit of its kind in the history of American jurisprudence. But it looks like various dudes are seeking out various lawyers and Travolta’s legal team is probably going to fight the charges on many different fronts.

Oh, John. This is what happens when you sell your soul to the Co$ and hide in the closet for THEIR sake. Shameful.

Edit: Oh, wait. Wait a minute. I’m actually beginning to think that this might all be the Co$ doing.
Some time ago I remember rumours about John wanting to leave the “Church”. Then his “wife” got pregnant and he couldn’t. Maybe he was about to leave for good and the “Church” unleashed their auditing-acquired dirty intel? Just to show him: “We could make all this go away, John…”
Conspirational, I know, but seems like their style.

      Interesting theory!

    • Jordan says:

Wouldn’t be surprised, tbh. I remember when his dogs got run over at the airport and thinking, that was a warning from the CoS. Maybe they had to up the stakes for him.

    • Lee says:

ha, could be. There was a blind item from 2010 that was re-posted as a clue around the time masseur-gate broke. It was about a closeted star with a sham marriage who was thinking of dumping his beard and coming out until she went behind his back with some frozen embryos. It’s so far out there that I don’t put much stock in it, but conspiracy theories are fun and you never quite know with Co$!

Thank you for giving it the Title it deserved K!

Note how at the end, very discreetly, it was stated that “Ballantyne Day Spa and Resort declined to comment.”

The spa has declined to neither confirm if “Casey” was ever an employee, a spa employee, a massage therapist, and if he was fired.

Yes, the Co$ is working very hard at discrediting Doe #2, because they CANNOT ATTACK his legal complaint, in any way or shape possible. Heck, he STILL works at the same job where John T had molested him, to the knowledge of all his superiors and most of his colleagues. A DOCUMENTED KNOWLEDGE.

Is anyone else from Toronto and listen to the Edge?

Today they had callers who had “run ins” with Mr JT at the Mayfair club. There are too many of these to be fake.

    • Maguita says:

      Give details! Please…

I’ve read something similar on Lainey’s, but nothing specific on the hotel or establishment.

    • Medusa says:

I’ve seen regular people on forums and blogs and comments on gossip sites also refer to experiences they had with him, some who’ve worked at spas. Same shit.

They could be lying, sure… but I haven’t really seen this happen before to this extent with other celebrities.

      • Tapioca says:

And the thing is – they’ve been saying the same thing on the blogs for at least the last half-decade!

If the 2 John Does were the first we’d heard of JT behaving like this, then a bunch of other guys jumped on the legal bandwagon then it might look like a stitch-up, but unless the masseurs of America have been planning a shake-down for 4-5 years I can easily believe them.

While playing internet detective with the Toronto lead, I found this http://www.wwtdd.com/2006/09/john-travolta-is-too-gay/.

Its a blog post written in 2006 from a guy who works in a Toronto spa. In it, he describes how Travolta while filming Hairspray was banned for shenanigans with the masseur – in 2006.

I believed the John Does but maybe in my heart I was still carrying some faint hope?

      • Roma says:

Ops I didn’t even read your link before I posted! Okay, these were the guys in the locker room who called in. Like if they said “hey I liked Pulp Fiction” he’d try to hug them in his towel.

    • Roma says:

Sorry all for the delay but I forgot to check back!

I missed hearing which Mayfair but I’m guessing it was the one on Lakeshore due to its proximity to the film studios. Basically the gist was that people who worked there / were a memeber were calling in all with stories of John Travolta in the sauna. Naked, lots of touching and trying to hug the other guys.

The thing is, that Mayfair has kind of an unofficial “Tuesday gay night” but Travolta was there hitting on straight guys. I really think that’s his thing.

  4. Cyndry says:

I was glad to hear the John Does had gone for Gloria Allred. People forget that the accusers are not just dealing with Co$ spying & smearing but also Marty Singer. He is the most cut-throat Hollywood lawyer there is. Just a month ago he was awarded the Best Entertainment Lawyer award at some massive hollywood ceremony attended by Schwarzinegger, Sheen & other very happy clients.

So yeah, Gloria Allred evens out that field abit.

  5. Marjalane says:

This is what a defense attorney always does- discredit and vilify the accuser. Sadly, it’s why a lot of victims never come forward against predators- and that’s exactly what Travola is.

  6. dorothy says:

Where there’s smoke there’s fire. I believe this, there has been rumors for years. I guess it just depends how much money he or his “church” is willing to shell out to make this go away.

  7. Tammylala says:

What about John Doe numbers 3 through 7??

  8. skuddles says:

Can you imagine the state of John’s lawyer’s office right now? Just trying to keep all these accusations straight? Okay which massage therapist claimed John showed him his butt hole and then started to wank off? NO no that was # 3… oh sorry, thought it was # 6, or wait… was it # 5??

My sympathies go out to the legal assists who are no doubt working overtime trying to stay on top of all this crap.

    • Jordan says:

There are only two accusers they have to deal with. The third has only hired an attorney to discuss options and hasn’t filed anything yet.

      • skuddles says:

Ah okay, thanks for sorting me out on that Jordan. I admit I’ve only been keeping surface track of this story. Kind of a “you heard one, you heard them all” scenario IMO 🙂

      • Jordan says:

As many stories that have been flying around, it’s easy to get confused by them all, haha. I’m sure Gloria Allred will be holding press conferences soon and will clear it all up for us (with illustrations and re-enactments).

      • skuddles says:

Oh geez, can’t wait lol! The moment I heard Allred was involved I knew it would turn into a circus…

  9. Mooshi says:

Can we have a new dictionary?

    Allred in my mind is
    A A
    Lawyer

  10. Mike says:

Has John Travolta touched anyone sexually in Toronto? That is sexual assault.
