There are a surprising amount of stories to cover this three-day holiday weekend, and we’ll be getting to them today and tomorrow, of course. But before I begin with the real celebrity gossip, I just had to cover these photos of my boyfriend in the South of France. You Fassbender-stalking loonies didn’t tell me that Fassy came to Monaco!!! But he’s there (or he was there), and these photos are Fassy’s beard-y appearance at the Hugo Boss party. Fassy’s X-Men: First Class buddies, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult were there, and now I’m in love with all of them because these photos are just so cute.
Before I really GO HARD on Fassy, I would like to say that I’m enjoying that Jennifer and Nicholas do seem like a “real couple”. They’re making their long-distance relationship work, they travel to see each other, and I buy that Nicholas is really cool with how Jennifer’s career has exploded since they first got together on the set of X-Men: First Class. And they’re seriously adorable together. I want to think Fassy cosigns this young couple too.
As for Fassy… the beautiful red beard. He’s ginger and beautiful ALL OVER, and he’s proud of it. And the hilarious posing. The shark grin. The suit (which barely contains his thunder). He looks like he’s gained some weight too, and it suits him. He also looks like he’s getting his drink on – which is fine. I wonder if Nicole Beharie managed to make it to Monaco? I couldn’t find any photos of her. Do you think Michael is chatting up the dark, lovely ladies in Monaco?

I am a fan of beards anyways, but had I not been, this would turn me on to the cause. He looks super yum with a beard!
I’ve been really into the man-hair lately too. (I think it’s a primal response to all that smooth, metro-sexual icky look that was around for years.)

Ewwww! No thanks! I have never really understood the Fassy-frenzy–not my cup of tea, but to each her own, right? These pics, however, are the nail in the coffin for me. His legs look like chicken toothpicks, and the face scruff makes him look dirty.
Lindy – I’ve seen much worse somewhere on this blog but these are pretty bad…
1. The teeth – every time I see him I want to run to the store for Crest White Strips
2. I hate when head hair and beard hair don’t match.
3. I hate that suit. I called out Thor on a similar one a few weeks back.
4. He just looks so dirty to me and not just in an “I think he smells way” but in an “I think he’s Christian Grey” way and I cannot stand that stupid book.

I’m not crazy about his suit though. When I look at that face and body, all common sense goes out the window.
Your (our) boyfriend looks fantastic. THIS is the BEST suit I’ve seen him in. The cut is good, the heather gray is nice, as are the shoes.
I’m so glad that you added the other Fassy and Jennifer pictures because the top makes her look ginormous and him wee. Camera angles can be deceiving.

I would never toss him out of bed but, on looks he’s not someone I’d automatically go for, although from what I can tell, he has a silly personality which is a plus. However what’s going on with his pants? In a few of the pictures he looks like he wet himself.. Maybe it’s just the way he’s standing?
I thought I saw wet stains on his pants, too! They’re just shadows. The jacket is doing it, too. Unfortunate because it does look like he had an accident.
He doesn’t look like he’s gained weight to me, he’s pulling off a slim cut suit with no extra lumps to be seen.
Nice way to start a Sunday morning. He looks adorable and the cheesy poses are awesome. I looove a beard on a man and it just makes him look even more manly. Jennifer and Nicholas are cute as well.

Yes, that’s Liam Cunningham. He played the priest in Hunger. They were also in Centurian & in the short film Pitch Black Heist together…which one the BAFTA for best short film.
Michael and Jennifer look super adorable together. Nicolas is kind of looking creepy and ruining the whole thing. I know Jen isn’t Fassy’s type and he used to date her best friend (Zoe) but in alternate reality they’d be a really cute couple.
They were all there to watch the Formula 1 race as well 😉 Will Smith and Vanessa Hudgens were there, Ron Howard was there. Fassie is a self-proclaimed huge fan of Michael Schumacher and Fassie admitted to BBC Top Gear that he was “stalking” Michael!

Glad you covered him there. He was more casual on Saturday during the day. It was probably during the tests they have to find out who’s going to be the pole position. As a Formula One fan, He chose the best circuit to go (Which it’s my dream to go too). The race happens on the streets of Monaco, super exciting! 🙂
It’s interesting. Whenever I see photos of Jennifer Lawerence, I remember how subjective beauty can be and how it’s in the eye of the beholder. I think she has great hair, a great body, and that she is “hot.” I don’t find her beautiful or pretty though, just average in the face department. When she’s on a magazine and they airbrush so you can see her cheekbones, I kind of get it. In real life though, with no cheekbones…no. Vulture or Atlantic once described her as swollen face. That’s basically what I see. Fassbender, on the other hand. Holy Shit. That is a beautiful, sexy ginger beast.

This guy has all the right ingredients, but for some reason he doesn’t rock my world. I mean, I’m sure he would in person, but on screen/in photos, he just doesn’t melt me like Ewan and some others do. Even so, he’s right about one thing: GINGERS RULE!

NO!!! Ewan is gorgeous, and sexy to boot even with the Obi-Wan Kenobi beard. Fassbender does not come close, but he’s definitely an interesting actor. I like these pictures, however. They seem like a happy bunch.
