Ugh… I just spent way too long searching for the MTV video of Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron presenting the “Best Fight” Award. Unfortunately, MTV hasn’t released video clips of some of the most talked-about moments of the night. And by “most-talked about” I mean “Michael Fassbender”. So… if you saw it, you saw it. And perhaps we don’t really need to see Charlize beating the hell out of an Irishman.
I see many of you want to debate what’s “really” going on between Charlize Theron and Fassy. My take is that she’s up for it and he’s not really interested. They’re friends and coworkers and they enjoy each other’s company, but Charlize’s fawning all over Fassy makes me a little uncomfortable (because, yes, I‘m jealous – you caught me). Maybe he’s used to girls being all over him. Maybe Charlize has a real problem when it comes to Irishmen (remember, she was with Stuart Townsend for a decade). Whatever is going on between Fassy and Charlize, I don’t think they’re doing it. Just my take.
Charlize wore this red Lanvin which… I kind of love. I haven’t been crazy about many of her style choices for the Snow White & the Huntsman AND Prometheus publicity tours, but I can get behind Charlize in a little red dress. I usually hate peplums (dust ruffles), but if you’re hellbent on wearing a peplum, you better have a body like Charlize.

Not feeling the ‘peplum’ at all. Besides that, the dress just feels kind of plain to me, although her body & face look beautiful as always.

Agreed.. this dress is totally unflattering, even on her. Peplum can be done well, but it’s rare to see.
The fabric seems a bit thickish but it’s generally okay. It feels more like a society cocktail outfit for a lunch lady, personally.

Perfection! I want that dress and those shoes. This whole ‘she’s desperate for him, but he’s just not interested’ seems like just wishful thinking. I think her and Fassbender are just good friends, but if she wanted him, I’m pretty sure she’d have him. She’s the most beautiful actress around in my opinion, and seems to have a great personality too, and doesn’t take herself too seriously.
Looked like Jon Hamm was checking her out on the Graham Norton show too. Now that would be a ridiculously hot couple.

I am sure it is not lack of sleep from the baby – she has a nanny. Maybe from traveling and promoting two movies.
She said she is 38 – so she probably is 40. She is doing fillers and botox but subtle. Because 38 years in hollywood all do it! Probably fraxel or cool laser for skin texture. Plus, she has had nose job. She has a scar from alar base reduction wear the nostils has been cut and notched plus the slight slope. Looks like an early 90’s job. So she isnt immune to go under the knife.
Also, I have alway thought she has a thick middle. Not hour glass – her long legs are the best thing about her.
She’s only 36 and you clearly don’t know anything about botox or fillers. If that is what she had, she wouldn’t be able to move her face and forehead so much. She has always had a soft face and women with round, soft faces age better, period. Stop trying to discredit her great beauty. You can make up procedures she never had all you want. In the end, she still looks like the most beautiful woman in Hollywood. Yoyo baby, lay off the crack. Charlize’s picture of her as a teen shows she had the exact same nose.
You don’t know anything about her as a mother either. She has been staying up nights with her baby. Everyone who knows her says she’s a very hands on mom. Sounds like you’re jealous and fixated with tearing apart everything about her.

I think Kaiser just wants him to have the hots for a real woman. Any real woman would do… Charlize is just the one currently in the same room but anyone older and smarter than Zoe Kravitz will do.
I think he is hideous in photos and just “eh” “blah” on film. He was appropriately Nazi Killer yet Germanically creepy in the X-Men. I wish he would do more villain roles. Him and Loki make great villains.

I see it too. She looks puffy somehow. Reminds me a bit of Kylie’s face. Maybe she gets less sleep because of the baby. I hope she’s not messing with her face, there’s no reason to.

Look at close ups. You can see lines and she’s able to move her face and forehead. If you know anything about botox or fillers, that wouldn’t be possible. She’s always had a soft, chubby baby face. Look at her old movies, it was even fuller and softer. People are too quick to accuse anyone of having plastic surgery or botox. Did you see her with the natural-looking look at the Prometheus premiere recently? Nothing looked unnatural about her face. Women with round faces age better. She looks good. End of story. Why the fixation on what women had done?
What does jeans hair mean? Her hair is fabulous with the dress. LOL. People so hypercritical about a flawless woman.

I think peplums work on women who have a bit of a belly to hide. They CAN be flattering, but why wear a dress like this when you have nothing to hide?

I liked her dress it was perfect for the MTV crowd. She looked like she was just having fun with Fassy . I guess we will be seeing them together a lot – b/c of the movie . Fingers crossed that, that’s all it is .:D I have Not seen Nicole with Fassy in a long time so I hope they are still together.

well, i did not see the show, I saw the backstage cameras on the mtv website.So much more fun!!! My take is that she flirts like crazy. He pretends he doesn’t care.She then pretends she is not flirting and then he follows her like a puppy. And he follows her not because he is really interested in her, he just loves the attention she gives…
That being said, I think he would definitely cheat on Nicole, which is sad. I like them together.
ps: I was not going to give my opinion, but I cannot pretend that he was not paying a lot of attention to her. Also, I am not going to comment much about her. Otherwise, Prim will be defending Charlize, as if we were accusing this flawless Goddess of something vile.
LOL! It is vile when a woman is being desperate. I feel people are unfairly trying to make out Charlize to be that way. I’ve seen Fassbender tease her just as much as she teases him. I’ve seen him whisper in her ear and kiss her on the cheek. If Charlize even giggles in his presence people act like she’s some desperate woman wanting to make him her child’s father and that he ignores her. Why can’t they just be friends? Charlize clowns around with all her male co stars the same way. Ask Woody Harrelson and Jeremy Renner. It’s just jealousy and double standards.
