You can always depend on Kate Bosworth to show up at the fashion events. Girl can barely get hired for a supporting part in an independent film, but she will pose her bones off at any and EVERY fashion event in America and Europe. These are some photos of The Bos at last night’s CFDAs. She wore Altuzarra, and she was Joseph Altuzarra’s date. As for the dress… hideous. It’s like some experimental crap from a design student. There’s a leg slit, a slice of exposed belly, a high collar AND some metallic biscuit trimmings that don‘t coordinate with this terrible print. Just awful.
Here’s Mad Men’s Jessica Paré in Jason Wu. Everyone is talking about Jessica these days – like, she’s the new January Jones. It will be interesting to see what roles she can get off of her success on Mad Men. It will be interesting to see what happens with her character, Megan Draper. It will be interesting to see if Jessica simply tries to become a “fashion girl” and that’s all. As for the Wu – it’s not really flattering, is it? Jessica has a killer body, and this dress does nothing for it.
And here’s Lily Collins in Marchesa. How uncomfortable does she look? And how awful is this Marchesa? I swear to God, the Marchesa label has the power to turn the prettiest women into busted cocktail waitresses/escorts. That’s what Lily looks like – the hostess at a Japanese brothel/after-hours club. Plus, Lily should wear these light colors – her coloring demands rich, dark hues.

I don’t get the fuss with Marchesa. They’re second rate fashion that make nearly all their dresses look like you’ll see them on the skating rink.
As for Kate Bosworth, I can’t remember a single movie she’s been in. That dress is so awful.
Altuzarra’s dress is only fit for an elephant ride, and the Wu is way too dim sum waitressy and finally the Marchesa is a chocolate wrap nightmare excuse of a dress! What went wrong last night at the CFDA?? Where have all the good dresses gone??
For a dress with a print and cut-outs and bling all I can think is zzzzzzzzz. Her hair doesn’t help either – there’s minimal and then there’s boring.

The Bos looks like she may have put on a few pounds, she looks alot healthier now. If Jessica’s dress were the opposite, pink on top and black below, it would have look alot better. As for Lily’s dress…blech…it does nothing for her and it’s ugly to boot.

Bosworth, no to the dress and the black shoes makes it worse. The pink and black dress is meh. If it was reversed as a previous poster said it would look better. Lily I cry for you. That Marchesa dress looks atrocious but then again I’m not surprised.
