I was so glad when rosie left, she couldn’t do one segment without declaring she was a lesbian, so what! Is that all she is! I may not agree with Elizabeth’s views on all topics but at least she is informative and fun to watch. I would tune into the view anyday and I use to watch Rosie’s show faithfully but once she came out she was just ANNOYING! Who cares who you are sleeping with. Get a life.

Elizabeth CREATES controversy and dissent wherever she goes. Barbara can’t get rid of her because all these “fights” that Elizabeth creates, UP the ratings. People tune in just to see what STUPID, IDIOTIC thing Elizabeth is going to say next, and how the others will handle it. If Barbara had INTEGRITY she would fire Elizabeth. Barbara is selling her soul to the DEVIL (for ratings!).
Rosie is great . . . I’m glad she left because the show is DISHONEST. No the hosts are not friends, after the show (or even on the show, for that matter). They ACT like friends, and that is SO PHONY, and an insult to the intelligence of the viewers (and I (we) don’t like being insulted)

Oh Doodahs, please tell me that was not a serious question? Barbara Walters may not be getting better with age (career-wise) but her career pre-view is one any Journalist would envy. Not to mention she made huge strides for women professionally, with very large obstacles she had to overcome to get there.

Barbara lost credibility long ago, but this is the cherry on the cake for me. The way she has continually “managed” the lone dissenting opinion (Elizabeth, whining all the way) has been nothing short of Judas reincarnate. Her holier than thou attitude is based on her early journalistic reporting but that has gone by way of the Edsel. I don’t overly care for Rosie either, but in this case, I hope the “blue collar” New Yorker tears the stuffing (read as snootiness)out of the “cultured” New Yorker, and in doing so I would love to see the plastic surgery come unraveled as well.

Didn’t Barbara Walters have a ‘serious’ career before The View? Hope she doesn’t go the way of Joan Rivers – ie crotchety old lady with too many opinions that no one really wants to hear anymore…
