Michael Jackson mientras cumplía con esos requisitos acompañaba a su madre a quien amaba mucho, de hecho legó su herencia a ella. Ahora bien, Michael Jackson cuando el cuerpo de ancianos de la congregación observaron que no estaba cumpliendo con los requisitos bíblicos, le 'sugirieron' que dejara de acompañarlos de casa en casa hasta cuando él estuviera seguro que podría representar a la congragación públicamente, de modo que ahora ya no podía salir a predicar con la congregación. Señores, él no era un testigo de Jehová bautizado, toda persona que desee ser bautizado, primero tiene que llegar a ser un 'publicador NO bautizado' y después, cuando él desea dedicar su vida a Jehová para siempre, 'solo' ahí, toma la decisión de bautizarse. Él usando su libre albedrío, decidió no seguir. La carta de renuncia solo la presenta aquella persona que es bautizada y ya no desea identificarse como tal y no ‘un publicador no bautizado’. Ese es el procedimiento que se maneja dentro de la religión de los Testigos de Jehová, nadie está por obligación.
