I keep forgetting that Vince Vaughn is a father now. I keep forgetting he’s in an established relationship too. Put it another way – I keep forgetting about Vince Vaughn. I saw these photos and I was like, “Oh, weird. He still exists.” He hasn’t really been working consistently or anything – he had Couples Retreat in 2009, then he took two years off (probably for his girlfriend, who was pregnant during that time period), then he came back with The Dilemma last year, which… did anyone see that? I didn’t. I just checked his IMDB, and he’s still working, but it definitely feels like he’s consciously taken a step back from his career.
Anyway, Vince and his family were photographed in LA last week and this week. These are some of the first photos I’ve ever seen of his daughter Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, who was born December 18, 2010. Which makes her one-and-a-half. Same as Flynn Kerr-Bloom! I should organize a playdate for these babies. Locklyn is a little cutie – I can see some of Vince in her, but it’s not like “OMG, that little girl looks exactly like Vince Vaughn.” Also: I think it’s nice that Vince is still with his baby-mama. He seems like… a handfull. You know? Like, he would be a lot to handle as a boyfriend. So props to Kyla Weber for sticking with it.

A lot of people downplay marriage these days but I think it’s important. If you’re willing to live with someone and have a child together then getting married should be seen as “too much of a commitment”! Having a kid is a lifelong one, so I don’t understand how some people dating with kids can say they don’t feel “ready” for marriage yet..
Well, lots of people don’t care about being married. It doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with being scared of commitment, and I don’t think anybody ‘should’ do anything they don’t want to do.

I don’t know, I think I could marry a Vince Vaughn. If you ever do watch “The Dilemma”, I feel like his on-screen relationship with Jen Connelly is what he’s like in real life. Very funny/sweet/eccentric.

Everytime I read the name Locklyn, I’m reminded of supporting actor Lochlyn Munroe of Andromeda.
Very cute…and so is the name Locklyn! For an offbeat child’s name it is so much better then a lot of the names the Hollyweird/Celeb set saddle their kids with.

Stupid article. She’s not his girlfriend or baby mama she’s his wife. He said many times in interviews that he was ready to settle down and happily with someone not in the business. I’m sure he made enough money to retire, but he doesn’t want nor need the hollywood spotlight. Celebs that are always in the news and being photographed want to always be in the news and be photographed. Others who want a normal life can have one.

I love that a celebrity’s baby is wearing an ill-fitting but very cute dress that has clearly been worn before, washed and not ironed. She is not going to be Suri Cruise. (Not that Vince is Tom, but… you know.)She’s a normal, messy baby.
YES, these two are married. He met her after the Aniston thing….I’m kind of glad he didn’t stay with Aniston for his sake. I don’t think she really had it for him anyway, as it was just a protective relationship after Brad left her. I agree, Vince has NOT been doing movies lately, but isn’t this damaging to his career overall? Perhaps his wife asked him to slow it down so they could have a family life together. His wife looks like she’s a bit overweight, but their daughter looks adorable.
Vince’s wife isn’t overweight, she’s actually average to slim build. However, Vince mentioned in an interview that he was ready to settle down and wanted a family. He also mentioned that he would took some time off to spend with his wife and daughter. However, he does have some more projects in line and more films coming up. He is taking a step back and also beginning to finally do a alance of movies in the near future 🙂

The term baby-mama makes me cringe. It’s the reason I married my partner of 9 years while 5 months pregnant. Being married doesn’t make our commitment ‘stronger’ at all, it just shuts people up.
