Yes I believe that Sarah had quite a sordid past which (as Shadow said) would not go down well with the direction that Clooney want to go in. There were some very risque pics which surfaced on the net and also some rumblings about her shady background. There were rumours that she was an ex-call girl. I think Clooney got out before it would be too damaging to his career and reputation.

Sorry Granger but I have to set the record straight on this one:

GEORGE dumped SARAH.

At the time of the breakup, ALL of George’s sources and ALL of Sarah’s sources said that it was George who dumped Sarah. Why she’s pretending to be coy about it now is beyond me. As a matter of fact Sarah’s close friend and spokesperson during the breakup, Andrea Tiende, went on the record as a named source and confirmed that George dumped Sarah. Tiende also confirmed that it happened suddenly and Sarah was shocked and quite devastated.

And I’m sorry but a woman who has posed and sold photographs of her bare crotch is not an appropriate public companion for Nobel Laureate ceremonies and photo ops with dignitaries and heads of state. As George’s public appearances veer increasingly into the area of domestic and international politics women like Sarah become a liability not only for George but the public officials that unknowingly wind up in photos standing beside her. It becomes an embarrassment to the other attendees and a distraction away from the grave and serious issues that are often being discussed at these venues. The media message gets lost and overshadowed by news of Ms. Larson’s photogenic genitals and her other assorted videos with licking and bum-biting and pole dancing. She’s wasn’t just out of her league, her presence as companion to someone seeking to become a political player on the national and international stage was inappropriate and embarrassing. It was a mistake George had to correct.

It’s clear now that aging Clooney only likes truly empty-headed bimbos..if she doesn’t say anything about ‘personal’ George, then this nobody has nothing to say and shame on the tabloid shows for giving her airtime. Her agent at Nous is just trying to make her into Paris Hilton..paid to party.

Actually she was still fucking Ryan any chance she got, her ex who dumped her. You may remember the photo of her being humped against a wall in a bar? That was Ryan and it was taken while she was dating George. I am sure she got a payoff to shut up, because it’s all about the image. She was a poor choice on almost every level for him, but he’s a man and probably everyone reading here can figure out the attraction *multiple partners* cough.

I didn’t get the impression that she was hanging on to anything or trying to gain sympathy…so I’m not sure what all the hostility is about. I tend to agree with CB here that she sounds like she’s taking a high road and doing the healthiest thing possible in moving on.

Of course dating someone like him would be stressful. It would be stressful for a celebrity…much less a civilian like this woman.

I didn’t disagree with CB’s “out of your league” comment. I didn’t take it as a rip on the girl. I took it as an acknowledgment of the fact that dating a celebrity when you are not one yourself…throws you into the deep end of the pool in a big way. You don’t get more famous than George Clooney. I’m sure it was a huge out-of-her-depth experience.

Of course George broke up with her over the phone. He’s not going to do that face to face. He keeps an emotional distance from the women he dates. I hope he at least gave her some cash for her trouble.

She got a huge Vogue spread out of it! She’ll be on reality shows or Dancing with the Stars. We haven’t heard the last of her. But we should.

Clooney knows that a fellow A list actress needs a lot of pampering, so he picks on these good looking nobodies as his arm candy.
