Thanks for the mention. I have a feeling that these types of stunts are going to continue. In fact, Pauly ripped this out of the page of Andy Kaufman. Comics have noticed the increased attention that Michael Richards generated and they are out for a slice of the pie. Andy Dick used the “N” word last week and he did get some press. Not as much as Richards, but it was clear he did it for that intentionally for some ink.

Comics are charging as much as 75 bucks for a ticket now. The more traction they can generate, the more their ticket prices go up.

In the case of Pauly Shore, he needs to pay me a considerable amount of cash for me to sit there and watch him.
