Until Katie Holmes publicly escaped The Wrath of Xenu a few weeks ago, all of us were focused on Johnny Depp’s split from Vanessa Paradis, and how he was likely boning Amber Heard, his publicist, and whoever else he ran into (with his d-ck). Multiple sources and multiple outlets claimed that Amber Heard had basically broken up with her girlfriend, Tasya van Ree, for Johnny, and that JD and Amber were definitely ON. Then Amber started doing photo-ops with Tasya and all of the trolls started coming out on every post, asking “OMG, why are you saying that Amber and Johnny were boning? I thought she was a lesbian?” Well, I still don’t know what exactly happened, but I’m pretty sure of two things: one, Johnny and Amber were sexually involved, and possibly romantically involved, and they were spending a lot of time together over the past six months especially. Two, I know Amber likes the attention. She likes the association. But now that everyone is calling her “the other woman,” it seems like Amber wants to play this another way. Or maybe Johnny wasn’t that serious about her in the first place:

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 49-year-old actor, who recently announced, that he had split from his partner of 14-years, Vanessa Paradis, “was definitely hooking up” with his smoking hot 26-year-old co-star for several months, but that after news of the romance went public the duo decided to take some space.
“Johnny and Amber were definitely involved,” a source confirms to RadarOnline.com about the couple, who first met on the set of the movie adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson’s book, when Depp was still with Paradis and Heard had just gone public with her relationship with photographer Tasya van Ree. “They definitely had chemistry carried over from the set. Amber quietly split from Tasya around the same time Johnny was secretly separated from Vanessa, so the timing was just right.”
“They were hooking up for months — way before he publicly announced that he and Vanessa had split up. They did a really good job of keeping their relationship on the down low for a while, especially since many people assumed that Amber was only into girls.”
However, after Johnny finally announced that he and Paradis had split, the heat hit Heard and she totally freaked out.
“Amber has never wanted that sort of attention. She prides herself on being free-thinking and independent — not some homewrecker trying to sleep her way to the top. As soon as the media started publicizing the romance, she told Johnny that she needed some space. The crazy thing was that Johnny actually split from Vanessa at the end of last year, so she didn’t break them up, but because they didn’t announce their relationship was over until June, people were painting her as some kind of scarlet lady, which she is far from being.”
Though Depp and Heard are still in communication, the source maintains that Amber has been spending all of her time with her friends, as well as her ex-girlfriend, in hopes of dodging the drama altogether.
“She really likes Johnny, but she doesn’t like the drama,” the source continues. “She isn’t really sure what is going to happen with them, but just wants the attention to cool down before anything progresses.
Doesn’t like the drama? Look at that face – that’s a girl who loves drama. She just doesn’t want to be seen as loving the drama, because she’s savvy enough to know that it could boomerang. And… still, there’s always a solid possibility that Johnny simply wasn’t all that involved with her in the first place. I believe Johnny and Amber had a thing, and maybe this whole “they were together when they were both technically single” thing is true. But I still believe Johnny has been fooling around all over the place, because he’s a drunk going through a mid-life crisis.

Sorry to disappoint, but i do consider those commenters “trolls” because, as I mentioned in nearly every post, Amber doesn’t self-identify as a lesbian, and she’s had relationships with men. And yet on every f–king post, trolls would come out and act all wide-eyed and fake-innocent, “What do you mean? This could never happen!” BS.
Kaiser, I have seen the tape from a GLAAD event where she said she’s gay. Not a lesbian, but “I’m gay and in a relationship with a woman.” That, to many, was Amber saying she was GAY! Not bi, but gay. People don’t come out to say they’re bi. Everyone is bi. Amber came out at this conference. To people in the community, it was sort of a big deal. I’m not saying you’re wrong, and that she isn’t bi… but she pulled a lot of people’s chains by saying she was gay and then flipping it into bi. That’s all.

They make a big deal about how she’s “come out” but if read her words, she’s talking about not labeling herself and “loving” whoever. But I do agree – she let everyone label her a lesbian when really she’s bisexual and she was in a serious relationship with a woman. Who she then dumped for Johnny Depp.

It’s funny how all these supposed hook ups get so much attention. Then when there is no real proof of a relationship the media spins it and says that the two parties have “broken up”.

I do believe him and Vanessa Paradis separated long before it was announced publicly and he is being painted as the adulterer unfairly. JD and VP may have both been seeing others for all we know. I also heard rumers they had an open relationship, which may or may not have been true. This thing reminds me of the Pitt, Jolie and Aniston triangle thing. re lesbian v. bisexuality — for many of us, sexuality is fluid. in my experience, attraction and chemistry has always been about the person, not the gender. i think it makes American society uncomfortable, when an individual’s sexual orientation cannot be definitively labeled. ambiguity is not acceptable, and it’s a shame.

Someone on the Bohomoth site said that the real rumor in Hollywood is that Johnny dumped Amber due to “some less than noble behavior on her part.” I think he finally listened to his friends who were saying she was a gold digger and selling him out to the tabloids. I believe it was her PR and not Johnny’s that was trashing Vanessa.

Vanessa has long said that they give each other the space necessary for the relationship to succeed. The problems began in October, when Amber & Johnny reunited to promote The Rum Diary. That is when they became involved and cheating started. This is the best thing that’s ever happened to Amber’s career–to be associated with Depp! I’m surprised Kaiser, that you don’t call her team on this, it’s so obvious she and Tasya are posing to try and deflect rumors. And yes, she is a gold digger. The source says after 14 years of being with Johnny Depp he was surprised that she wanted to return to France to live.
