The Teen Choice Awards were last night, with the cast of Vampire Diaries taking home a big percentage of the awards/surfboards. We’ll be focusing on the fashion, and you can go here for a full list of winners. “Vampire Diaries” won choice Fantasy/Sci-Fi TV show, with Ian Somerhadler and Nina Dobrev winning best actor and actress in the Fantasy/Sci Fi category.
First off we have Nina Dobrev in striking light blue strapless J. Mendel. This dress is amazing on her, although it looks like her boobs are getting squished since the bodice is so tight. That’s a minor complaint on an incredible dress. I don’t like her eye makeup and think the black eyeliner makes her look squinty. I blame the Middleton sisters for that trend. Her hair and forehead braids are cute though, and she looks gorgeous as usual. I love seeing Nina on the red carpet.
Nina’s costar Kat Graham is known for her outrageous fashion (check her category on Go Fug Yourself for sh*ts and giggles), with some of her past looks making this fug Mara Hoffman minidress seem demure in comparison. By any other standard other than Kat’s low personal one this dress is not that cute. The pattern looks like Mayan meets acid trip.
Kat changed into this deep v-neck tiny short and tuxedo jacket Wish outfit at some point during the ceremony. At least she didn’t wear this on the red carpet. Look at all that fake hair.
Candice Accola was in a canary 3.1 Phillip Lim dress with brown platform sandals. She’s lovely, although this plain dress isn’t doing her any favors. The color is striking and I do think it suits her, but the design is lacking. I find her shoes a little too casual for this look. Candice won Choice TV Female Scene Stealer.
Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder both went with the black pants and dressy t-shirt combo with black shoes. I think Ian is really sexy but Paul doesn’t do it for me. He looks so skinny it’s a little unhealthy looking. Ian wears it better, like he’s just naturally lanky. Not that I would turn either down.

I had the same reaction to the first dress that CB had. Really gorgeous dress that could have been fitted better at the top.
He does always look good and she’s not always going for the same look.

I like the Mayan dress! Its teen choice awards, nice to see a dress that’s not try-hard or to skanky. It’s fun and young like it should be, why she switched into the fug v-neck that looks like grandmas drapes I cannot fathom.
Nina’s dress is awesome, except for the boobs area – too low and too tight.
Kat is a really beautiful girl, but she does not look good here.

Nina’s gorgeous, but I find her styling really boring all the time. Pretty but boring.
I think they all look great, but especially Kat Graham (perfect dress for the Teen Choice Awards!) Candice is my favorite on the show though, so I’m really happy she won.
And I may be in the minority, but I find Paul MUCH hotter than Ian!

Ian looks creepy and pervy (that half grin makes me want to punch him in the face! so douchey). I was watching the first season on Netflix and got into it for a while but then I sorta forgot about. Maybe I need to start watching it again. What season are they up to?

When you stand her with the group, Nina looks rather overdressed. The others look like they’re going to the pub and she looks like she’s off to some gala someplace.
Kat Graham tries so hard it’s painful to see.
I’m a girl but I must admit that I love Nina Dobrev. Of all the celebrities, I always look forward to Nina on the red carpet. She has a nice dressing style. I love all the dresses she has worn on every red carpet.
As for Kat, :// I guess she doesn’t have any pretty dresses so she goes with weird ones. Just so people call it weird instead of bad.

Ian is wearing lifts. You can see it around his ankles. And Nina’s makeup is off for me. She can look so much prettier in the face. And the dress is pretty safe. Nothing I couldn’t go to the mall and buy myself.
Paul Wesley reminds me a lot of the ShamWow guy.
Nina looks great as usual but I kinda love Kat’s Mayan print dress. Boo on the second outfit though and I agree that those extensions are too much and not cute. On a separate note, her legs are killer.

I never understand what tells a person with naturally black hair to dye it all-purpose brown and put Magic Marker blonde streaks through the whole thing. It always looks so dingy and unfocused. Just oddly messy and distracting to me.

Nina lacks charisma on the red carpet… her clothes wear her every single time.
I hate how Ian knows that hes hot…I know that hes super nice but that makes him seem like an ass and lets face it, he probably is. I will take Paul who actually seems humble over Ian any day.

I think Nina Dobrev is so gorgeous. She go from looking cute to sexy, approachable girl-next-door to total bombshell, or somehow all of the above at the same time. If I had one wish to look like anyone in the world, she would totally be my first choice.
