I will pretty much give wall-to-wall coverage to Michael Fassbender and Benedict Cumberbatch whenever we have new photos of those lovely men, but for the most part, I haven’t really fallen for Tom Hiddleston, despite many of you trying to get me interested in him. The way I feel about Tom – if I’m being completely honest – is that my heart is already owned by two ginger boys, Fassy and Prince Harry. Do I have room, do I have the time, do I have the inclination, do I have the need to fall for Tom Hiddleston? I don’t know. I’ve come across various videos and interviews from Tom which made me go, “Huh, he IS cute.” But I’ve yet to have that crush-defining moment where I go, “YES, my new obsession!”
Anyway, these are some new photos of Tom in Cologne, Germany, meeting with some German Hiddlestoners. From what I’ve heard and seen, Tom is really sweet to his fans. Well, he just seems like a sweetheart in general. Fassbender is a boy’s boy, happy that he’s gotten a higher profile, but he still treats a lot of his “fame” with some skepticism and “coolness”. Whereas Tom is just incredibly earnest and… I don’t know, there’s something winningly needy and nerdy about him. I’m not saying that in a bad way – he just seems to be the Dorky Boy Scout of the Young, Hot British Actors.
And much like my beloved Cumberbatch, Hiddleston’s hotness definitely improves when you see him in motion, and you can hear his voice. He also does great impressions – his Owen Wilson is AMAZING.
Cute, right? Sigh… maybe I do have room in my heart to love him.

Loki was what I enjoyed most about The Avengers – how he managed to make me love the villain speaks to his acting skills besides all the good in one group was a bit much, I needed his funny and dark bad.

The first time I saw him was in War Horse, and when he came on the screen all blond and upper-crusty and perfect, it was literally a “take my breath away” moment in the theater. I just sat there thinking, “Who is THAT????” As soon as the movie ended, I Googled him, and I have been a serious Hiddlestoner ever since. When the Avengers trailer came out, I even watched it on YouTube about a million times just so I could hear him say “I have an army” in that vagina-exploding voice. So, yes, I would do very, very naughty things to him, all day and all night!

Eve: I just did a quick Google search and apparently the publicist is in fact gay. So that’s … interesting. I’m like you, I’ll still think Hiddles is hot even if he doesn’t go my way, but it will be disappointing when I think about molesting him knowing there’s even less of a chance of that actually happening now! I’ve never heard of him! So for the title and the menu picture I thought, No WAY…too skinny and his cheekbones kind of yucked me out. Once inside I thought, eh, not bad, petty cute and started to read a bit more of what Kaiser had to say I found myself thinking, I would probably like him and have a crush on him (tall lanky smart funny dorks are pretty much my type). I think he is really talented and he has range (Watch him in Avengers and in Archipelago, the guy can act!). His voice is gorgeous and he has a face that the camera loves – so I am interested in what he will do next. Unfortunately he comes across as a bit smarmy and try hard in interviews, which I hope is just because this massive fame is just a bit overwhelming to him. I think Hiddles is adorable. (And we can call him “Hiddles.”) War Horse left me incredibly depressed, but I would say see it for the brief time Hiddleston is onscreen. His character is heart-wrenching.

I love love LOVE him. And though I’ve unknowingly followed his career ever since Cranford (he seems to be doing just the stuff I love to watch) I’ve only just recently gone into a full blown crush for him. His Prince Hal/Henry V definitely did the trick for me. So talented. And handsome in that understated elegant British way (sort of reminds me of a young Ralph Fiennes). Add to that him being an Eton, Cambridge & RADA graduate, speaking several languages (Ancient Greek & Latin among them), playing the piano & guitar… well, what more do you need, really? I’m a sucker for incredibly intelligent & well read men and proud of it tbh. As someone else pointed here before, much more of a turn on than the hunky not so intelligent type. :p Don’t relate to the Cumberbatch obsession though, I do however think he’s also a fantastic actor. On the other hand, totally get the Fassbender attraction.

Tom is not only very, very good-looking, but he’s the sweetest man ever. If anyone knows of any serious deal breaking flaws, please let me know. I haven’t found a single one yet. His accent doesn’t even really play a big part in my attraction to him. His overall personality is what I like about him, and I seriously never, ever, ever like celebrities outside of their various characters. I actually like Tom more than most of his characters, but that’s not because they’re poorly done or anything. They’re good and I think he’s a fantastic actor.

Tom’s not movie-star perfect, he’s normal-guy cute. And he has the ability to be a great character actor like Alec Guinness or Gary Oldman. Which means that he’ll be thanking the Academy decades after every hunk-of-the-month he currently works with is long gone….
And genuine talent is always hot! So, yes, I’d hit it so hard that the Earth would spin off its axis….

Ok, so im one of those people who used to read&be on this site SEVERAL times a day, it was this crazy slightly hidden obsession of mind. – fast forward 1 year, a new city, selling my home-buying a new home, the equivalent of a divorce,&homeschooling my Kindergartener&1st grader&u have a 30yr old DESPERATELY. Needing a new crush …… I haven’t been on this site in months&today of all days I pop on&watch this video and I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE! !!!! hes just an average looking guy, but he seems so funny&charismatic& INCREDIBLY intelligent to be able to remember all those different&random lines from movies…. I love him. Oddly, it was a post by you, Kaiser, several months back that attracted me to him in the first place. I barely knew of Tom Hiddleston but you posted a photo of him that stopped me mid-scroll and I have been snared ever since.

He’s cute (as someone said ‘cute in a ‘normal guy way”) and he IS much better in motion (those impressions were fantastic!) than in still photos, but no, I probably wouldn’t hit it. He seems like he would be fun to hang out with (in the friend zone) though

I love watching him in interviews and hearing him speak. Not just for the sound of his voice but for the substance of the things that he says. Yes, he’s erudite, but their is a soulfulness to his eloquence that is disarming.

I get why people are saying his fans are creepy because a lot of them totally are. But his Twitter? How in the world is his Twitter creepy? He’s unbelievably kind to EVERYONE, quotes Shakespeare, acts like a normal person in that he gets excited over stuff like the Olympics and The Dark Knight Rises…
There’s also NO WAY he’s smarmy in interviews! He’s incredibly smart, yes, which I guess is intimidating to some people, but he gives very articulate responses and goes with the flow of the interviewer. Like when he was interviewed by those radio station guys, he was cool and edgy, rapping Will Smith’s “Miami.” But he can sit and discuss Shakespeare with scholars, too. Well-rounded and charming, this guy. Don’t see how anyone could dislike him unless they were jealous.

I love Tom Hiddleston. He is wonderful. If I ever write a letter to him, it will not be to proclaim my undying love for him, or to try to get his attention. It will be to tell him how I thought he was a jerk (I’m not good at figuring people’s character), but I grew to realize how wonderful he is. He is a sweethearted guy, and I will always think of him as a friend who holds a special place in my heart.
