From the very beginning of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship, the press have rallied against this couple. Perhaps there was the assumption that Liam was hitching his Aussie star to the nearest tweener (as he caught his lucky break in The Last Song), but a lot of people have always assumed that Liam would get what he needed out of Miley (i.e., more exposure) and then be done with her. And I have to admit, I was also a bit skeptical myself and thought that Liam would eventually outgrow Miley but have recently realized — thanks to Liam unceremoniously putting a ring on it — that he’s very serious about Miley.
Now some new rumors, which seem to be based upon Liam’s semi-serious demeanor in these candid shots from the Paranoia set in Philadelphia, have begun in earnest. Here’s a few photos of Miley visiting Liam on the set on 7/31, and a summary of the negative buzz that has started as a result:
They may be recently engaged, but Liam Hemsworth’s patience with fiancee Miley Cyrus is beginning to wear thin, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. The 22-year-old Aussie beefcake wants the wild child to go back to Los Angeles because she is proving to be too much of a distraction while he films his new movie Paranoia in Philadelphia.
After a hard day of filming, poor Liam wants to put his feet up, read through his lines for the next day and order take out… However, Miley, 19, has other ideas.
“Miley is driving Liam crazy at the moment,” a source said. “While he’s on set in Philadelphia shooting his new film Paranoia, she gallivants around town shopping, getting pampered in nail salons and just can’t sit still. Then, when she sees Liam after he’s finished filming, she chews his ear off about her adventures and can’t wait to tell him what she did that day.
“With the early starts and late finishes, all Liam wants to do is rest, go through his script so he’s ready for his role and order a takeout or go for a quiet dinner. But Miley wants to go to the local gay bars and hit up fancy restaurants, which Liam just isn’t in the mood for. And it doesn’t help that Miley brought along their bulldog, Ziggy for the trip. Liam can’t get a good night’s sleep with Ziggy snoring next to him.
“So, Liam’s told Miley that he’s in Philadelphia to work and can’t focus with her buzzing around him. He even suggested perhaps it was time for her to go back home,” the source revealed..

From the pics below, we can see that yes, Ziggy the bulldog is along for the ride. That’s perhaps the only bit of truth that we can glean from Radar’s story, and honestly, I think tha Liam and Miley are just fine. He’s just a very serious looking boy, and I think his looks give an unintentional false impression of his general demeanor. If Liam didn’t want Miley hanging about (and she hasn’t had much going on professionally in quite awhile, so it’s not like this is a surprise), then he never would have proposed in the first place.
Also …. Philadelphia is a seriously fun place. I was in town last fall and left several days earlier than I would have preferred. So good for Miley for enjoying the hell out of herself. She worked throughout a great portion of her youth, and she deserves to live it up a bit.

It seems like Miley’s star has seriously faded – now whenever I hear the name Miley, I think of Hannah Miley, an awesome swimmer.

I understand it. she’s cute with a great body, has a vibrant (some might consider annoying) personality, seems mad chill and has worked her own way to fame and success. Liam is lucky to have her!

Number 1, those aren’t extensions, she recently got this cut and it looks a little dry from the bleach. It happens to all of us who bleach. Number 2, what’s with all the “trailer trash” comments? That is seriously offensive to those in lower socio-economic groups, of which, Cyrus has never belonged. She was raised in a 200 acre upscale farm, then lived in a high rise in Canada, then to Toluca Lake, Ca. Her fathers net worth is $150 million. They may be “Southern” “non-urbane,” but just because someone isn’t from a big Northern city, doesn’t make them trash.Taylor Swift is from the same area as Miley, is she also trash? Inbred?

I could see this being somewhat true. Especially if he wants to really bring it to this role and gain some cred as an actor and not just be known as Miley’s piece.
I’d guess learning lines and the whole process of making a film requires patience and focus, especially if you want to go about it professionally and not the Lilo “wing it” route and burden everyone with your unpreparedness.

He better get used to her always being around. It’s not like she is on a short self-imposed sabbatical; she isn’t working because she’s too old to cater to tweens and too talentless to break into the film/music industry for adults.

Agree. Couldn’t have said it better. She desperately needs to find a project to keep her occupied. Being around each other so much at that age will result in them getting tired of each other, and heading for splitsville pretty quickly. Liam is definitely the more grounded, mature one in that relationship. Liam & Chris rock – go Hemsworths!

I’m with you Marie. It’s been slow of late on celeb gossip, outside of “The Meltdown”, and radar is looking for something to put on the pages.
“But Miley wants to go to the local gay bars”. Just like the rest of the country, you have to be 21 to get in the bars in Philly, even for Miley, especially for Miley, because 1 pic of her inside and LCB can fine or shut down said bar.

Ehhh. Maybe he told a friend “she’s driving me crazy!” but it doesn’t seem tabloid-story material for a guy to need his fiance to let him focus on his job for a minute. There’s nothing dramatic here. They’re both cute and adorable and seem pretty normal!

This story is so ridiculous, but do I think Liam and Miley’s relationship is as strong as it once was? No. Lainey put it best when she said this was a couple trying to hold on to their young love. It will end not because they don’t love eachother, but because they are in two very different places in their lives. Liam keeps getting movies with big name actors and Miley….. well she’s resorted to taking pictures of herself everyday and posting them to Twitter for attention. I highly doubt this couple will tie the knot, but who knows?

You do make a good point but her doing less may help them. I always think two power Hollywood couples takes a lot of work because both could be filming in different parts of the world. On the other hand if the relationship is too uneven with him working and her doing nothing it might not be good either so who knows.

If the other person is okay with doing less, then I agree the couple could work. But it doesn’t seem like Miley is that type of person, that’s why she’s trying so hard to get attention in other ways now. She said she is in the studio right now working on new music, if that bombs as bad as her last movie did, then I don’t think she’ll be happy “just” being Liam Hensworth’s wife.

Philly is my home town, I live like 6 blocks from the Capital Grille, seen here. It’s very close to the gayborhood, and yes the gay bars are the most fun, especially if you can catch a good drag show. I hope Miley likes our city, it’s old, rough around the edges, and the best city on earth

While it’s true that Miley could drive anyone nuts in any situation, I suspect Liam’s biggest frustration is that she’s cramping his style with the ladies. It’s heavily rumored he likes his on-set side action.

LOL there is no way in HELL they work out in the long run. i don’t think a lot of people realize how difficult it is for an attractive early-20s male to be monogamous. if he’s not cheating now, he will either cheat on her or break it off. no ifs, ands or buts. i will happily eat crow if they are still together in 2 years, but…let’s be honest with ourselves here.

I could see it. Liam has anger issues and seems to snap kind of easily. Miley can be a little bouncy and obnoxious, so I could see it bothering him. Plus I think he’s trying to be mr. cool serious actor and I bet she’s bounding around shouting and singing like a girl her age would and just aggravating him.
You can argue she’s worked hard, but she’ll always be associated with Hannah Montana and her achey breaky dad, so I think having her around doesn’t really legitimizes him as an actor.
oh and re: the anger issues, he’s gotten into a lot of fights, some involving the paparazzi, and on his episode of punk’d miley warned that he has anger issues and looked a little sheepish about it.
