I have worked in and studied trauma & addiction and in my experience a very high percentage of male late stage drug users have been sexually abused. My guess is Mac uses crack. I don't remember being anywhere close to thinking and comprehending like him at 24. I like how he handled all the questions, esp about his childhood and family. It's different how we see it because of what's reported in the media. His early objective understanding of his own self and his childhood is something what most people manage to achieve in their 30's or 40's. Of course it's very telling that he was 14 when he decided to remove both his parents from guardianship of his earnings.
