Do you realize that it’s been more than a month since I’ve written about Eva Mendes? Weird, right? For several months there, Eva made sure to get pap’d a few times a week during her errands, and it seemed like the tabloids were always suspiciously full of pro-Mendes rumors about how Ryan Gosling is super in-love with her. These are the first new photos we’ve had of Eva in a while – she was photographed, once again, running errands in LA. I wonder why Eva (and Ryan) went dark for a month? I wonder how they’re doing? Do you think they’re still together? Ryan was just photographed in LA yesterday too – so at least they’re in the same city.
As for these photos – I loathe Capri pants, but these kind of look good on Eva. I love her flip-flops. I like her high ponytail too. I can never do a high pony like that – it makes me feel like a rooster.
In other Eva news, her latest film, Holy Motors, has a new trailer. This is the film that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and Eva didn’t even show up to promote it. Because she didn’t want to leave Gosling’s side? Or because this film looks like a big, steaming pile of “WTF?”

I have always gotten a vibe from her that she wants to pull off a 60’s Gidget-type of image. Her outfit is cute, although I don’t like the way her capris are bunching at the knees.
She actually looks cute. I have a length issue with shirts, though. This shirt is too short for my taste. I would be wearing a long tank top under it for length and layering. Otherwise, she looks adorable.

If I have a problem with anything she’s wearing, it’s the shirt. The horizontal stripes and short fit make her look a little boxy. Overall, it’s a cute summery, nautical look. I like it! I think she’s really pretty.

Holy Motors got huge buzz at Cannes, took everyone by surprise. It’s one of those “what did I just watch??” movies. Very weird, but it got lots of love in Cannes.

Eva looks cranky per usual. Are she and Ryan even trying to look like a couple anymore haven’t seen any pap shot’s of them together for awhile. Or are they waiting till just before their movie is being released to do the staged shoots again? Cause Paris was so funny.

I don’t think those are capris. I think they’re just skinny jeans she pushed up on her calves. They’re bunched or folded at the knees. Anyway, I think she looks great, casual and summery. Nice.
I wish she would just dress her age and not always be trying to put on some kind of retro look, its just not attractive a woman at her age dressing so silly, why would you want to look cute and girly at 40? She needs to tone it right down and try and go for a more cool and chic look instead.

Laura, I actually thought “Huh, she looks kind of pregnant from behind” when I was going through the photos, but I was trying to avoid being rude. She looks… wider than usual. She’s gained some weight in her hips and butt. Maybe she is pregnant.

I thought those other photos looked a little too much like she was trying to look like she was hiding a pregnancy. Too obvious.I find her to be a bit of a publicity hound. I think she would pretend to look pregnant if it meant she could bet more attention. If she really is pregnant, I will be so disappointed. I was still hoping that this would end and Ryan and Emma would get together when they do their Gangster Squad promos.
I think she is faking these phone calls to make her look like really in demand and busy.
But her movie, in which she is in only briefly, does indeed look interesting – more so than Gosling’s Gangster Squad actually, which looks awful. Who would have thought a dumb bimbo makes a smarter movie choice than a hipster Oscar nominee.

Oh dear. I thought from the first photo they were some type of classy/comfy active capri (ie sweat pants). I was impressed at how she was pulling them off. But in the last photos I see they are twill-ish material? Yawning pulled pockets and the like. Not liking so much now.
