Yes yes, you would have fought, you would never have let this happen.

HOW would you have fought what she was facing? WHAT would you have done to make sure you didn’t lose the kids under those circumstances? Given that their entire belief system, which they had been raised with, now declared her evil and that associating with her meant they were facing reprecussions for associating with somebody they believed to be ‘spiritually’ a bad influence on their own ‘spiritual’ path?

I’m sure you’re a wonderful mother and that it’s easier to believe that she must not have been trying hard enough. But I’d like some details of how you would have ensured a different outcome, please.

I agree with you completely. I’m a mother and I would never let anything, not even a powerful and scary cult separate me from my kids, no matter how intimidated I felt. And I’ve never met à mother who would. I’m convinced Nic valued her career over her children. Furthermore I don’t believe that if her adopted children had truly bonded with N as their mother they would have chosen not to live with her after the divorce. According to some insiders N was never really a mother to B and C, Tom did all the parenting. So i’m so tired of all the “poor Nicole” BS. She could have saved those kids from CoS but she was too narcisstic to care.

oh come on, it’s not because of her age but everyone knows she can’t have children the normal way. She’s just trying to make headlines for other things beside the Tom and Katie struggles.

Anne… Do you have children? If so have you ever had to make any tough life decisions for yourself and them? I have.

Religon/Cult aside…

I don’t know you and you don’t know me, ah what did you call me, naive, right, well I am not naive. I have 3 kids and I would walk through fire, chew glass, spit nails, WHATEVER IT TOOK for them to be a part of my life. Maybe you are the naive one to think for one moment that a Mom would do any of THAT for their kid(s) rather then have them taken away and keep her mouth shut about the whole thing…which led to your conclusion that “But as long as they, under heavy cult influence, just don’t want to see her”. Every action or inaction we take in our life has a consequence … giving your kids up to a cult when you yourself get out included. Nicole made a choice I would never have made. I don’t admire her for it.

I am not a “can’t do a damn thing about it” person so I’d don’t and never could get where you or Nicole are coming from.
