Well… His career as A-List IS over. Remember how he was this Golden Boy at box-office? And then he just vanished. I think he says those things now because you know – no one is asking him to star in mega-budget blockbusters anymore. Of course he wants to do indie now. He has no other options.

Shia and Megan destroyed their careers with their bad mouth.

I agree. What an ungrateful douche. It’s ludicrous that he publicly criticized Spielberg, because he owes much of his success to Spielberg’s influence. Through SS’s power, Shia was pushed higher up the Hollywood status list, the same thing Uncle Steve did for Gwyneth.

Sheesh, the actors these days and their lack of discretion. He can’t get away with badmouthing employers because he’s not a sure thing at the box office. He’s not swoon-worthy. Add to that his talent (mediocre) and personality (repellent), so he has nothing which can compensate.

I actually like Megan. Unfortunately, she’s too physically appealing to men for Hollywood to considered her a serious actress.
She nots going to given serious roles. So we’ll probably never know if she can actually act. Shia, has been in those roles and he’s mediocre at best. Plus, Shia threw Megan under the bus, which she never did to him. Speaks of his character when compared to hers.

Shia has never been A-list IMO. I like him but he needs to keep his mouth shut. He’s lucky he’s in even has the opportunity to choose his roles. There are tons of better actors that will never be offered the opportunities Shia has received.
