Something about it seems orchestrated in order to get people to think: -Wow, no make-up: She will be our new God! -Get people to speculate on the name of the baby and start a countdown to the unveiling of baby's face. -The 'Paparazzi, Be Gone' movement will be bolstered because they do dumb stuff like this and have a pretty poor concept on how they're viewed. A baby is a reliable sympathy grabber, bug a newborn, bug your audience. However, how could they all know that she's walking into some random building? Someone must've told on her--or it was staged or she was complicit, I dunno, but this is sloppy stalking on the part of the photographers. -Remind people that she's alive before she gives up and works with Tarantino again, because goodness knows she dwells in the casting graveyard when they don't collaborate. I saw her and her family years ago in Israel. They had a tour guide with the same idea as ours. We followed each other from site to site. Even across the world, it was impossible to avoid photographers. It was embarrassing watching the people I knew fall all over themselves trying to get her attention. I tried not to notice, being a former new yorker. I think this intrusiveness comes with the job. And uma handles the paps as well as anyone. And I did look at the baby. she is adorable.
