I can’t see how someone could just move on so fast after being with someone for so long. It kinda makes you wonder if he ever really loved her? I know that when she reads this she’ll be hurting. I feel for her and wish her the best.

According to the articles here Ryan & Reese had pretty much ended their relationship long before they announced it was over. That happens a lot in celeb relationships, especially those where either spouse has a large stake in a particular public image.
I always get the impression that Ryan couldn’t get away fast enough. And for the record, I don’t think Reese cares too hard either. Just so long as he doesn’t get a penny out of it, I’m sure she’ll be fine.

The lingerie in question sounds awfully demure for a new relationship. Maybe he got them for his three sisters? Or he has teenage or grown nieces? These are camis and boyshorts, not teddies, merry widows, or thongs.

I have nothing against Ryan Phillippe…but I don’t know what it is. I’ve always picked up on an ice cold vibe he seems to give off. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he was a shitty person.

Boys don’t buy lingerie for sisters/nieces etc. It would be completely inappropriate–would your bfriend or husband buy panties for his sis and said it’s for someone “special”? I don’t think so. Ryan should try to be a bit more discreet.. how about sending his PI to do this kind of shopping instead of advertising he’s in a relationship so soon after the split?

He’s never come off as a nice guy. Even back when he was on “One Life to Live”, he was very brusque and unfriendly in interviews.
Maybe they were for him?? I’m only guessing…
