That happens a lot in celeb relationships, especially those where either spouse has a large stake in a particular public image. I always get the impression that Ryan couldn't get away fast enough. And for the record, I don't think Reese cares too hard either. Just so long as he doesn't get a penny out of it, I'm sure she'll be fine.
