I love these teenage super stars who think the grass is greener on the other side… What happens when nobody cares about little Miley Cyrus, and she is a has been, who spent all her money because she did a better job of it then her parents or whoever else… Does she go home to Mommy and Daddy? Just because you grow up faster in “Hollwood” doesn’t make you an adult… Do I think her father is a little much, heck yeah, but do I also think he knows what its like to be on top ad then fall flat on your face… I hope she really thought this through and knows what she is doing and what it really means, and that its not over a guy, because that would really show her immaturity

Aww, lauren, your comment touched me. I’m guessing you’re younger than 18 or so, and I think younger people NEED more good role models. You’re probably so used to seeing the nonsense that Miley has pulled lately (along with Vanessa Hudgens, Britney, etc.) that you think it’s normal. And that’s the part that scares me. It’s not normal to flash your crotch or date adult underwear models when you’re 15 years old.
BUT it is normal for teenagers to feel like adults themselves and want to explore their individuality and independence. Hopefully that’s all Miley is up to right now, and just keep reminding her that you and the rest of the fans are in her corner. Hopefully she’ll make good choices, but even if she doesn’t it doesn’t mean she’s a bad person. It just means she’s going to have to learn some things the harder way (and maybe lose some fans) but at least you can learn from her mistakes too.

i hate how this is happening to miley i like her a lot i think her music and her show is awesome i don’t want her going down a bad path like some other stars did she has talent. she should listen to her dad, she really shouldn’t be dating a 20 year old its ridiculous. i would hate to say that this is one of the stars i look up to. i hope miley gets back to being a great person she was before the vanity fair pictures and the other inappropriate pictures she took. its just not right. i love miley but if she is going down a bad road by getting emancipated then i don’t know if she is a star people including children should look up to. i hate that im saying this. please miley don’t go down a dark and horrible path.

I’m still having a feeling that Justin is using Miley.. And poor Mi is so much in love that she can’t see it.

I hope it isnt true because she would be married in a flash to someguy that would take her for every cent she has and then knocked up because she is NOT one bit smart. Maybe boy crazy and crazy about sticking her tounge out and licking her lips for the guys but no common sense and her folks need to grab that kid by the throat and straighten her ass out.

Somehow I doubt this one is true, and even if it was, it’s extremely unlikely that a judge would rule in her favor seeing as there is no evidence of abuse physically, emotionally or financially. Granted they get a few strikes for letting her date a 20 year old, but I still doubt that would be enough for a judge to sign an emancipation order.

Hope the judge quashes this one. Just because she has money doesn’t make her ready to be considered a legal adult. She needs to grow up first.

It’s normal for a 16 yo to want more freedom. But that doesn’t mean they should get it.
