AG is for sure a beautiful girl…but she is trying WAYYY too hard to be the next “big thing”. If dedication and trying hard could create a new hot young star, she would be it. But acting talent has to come into play, somewhere, RIGHT?
I did feel really bad for her when that blind item came out about her and that supreme man-pig, Michael Bay, He sounds like a TOTAL misogynist. However, based on her skill regarding her craft…don’t really think you can create something when nothing’s there.

That’s one of the few blind items I’ve believed…because Lainey published it right before she dropped so much weight, when Bay was in the process of casting his next movie, and because it just seems like such an Ashley Greene move to do. Her film is like 2% on RT and was something like number 12 at the box office. Poor, dumb soul. If anything, Rpattz might not want to deal with the insane fans and ditch everything but the premiere, even on the very, very slim chance he gets back with KStew. Same with KStew. So Summit would move to Lautner and the girl who plays the daughter before they moved on to Greene. She would be like number 5 on their list.

She is so transparent- it’s embarrassing. Even if she were to get more play during the promo that can only take here so far. A couple of “best’ dress list and some far fetched rumors about her and Rob.
If she were smart, she would find some CW/ABC Family show that caters to the 15-25 set and become a fan fave actor that way. That is the best platform for young actors to build a brand and following.
Unfortunately everyone wants to be a MOVIE STAR and let there egos get in the way.

Have to admit, I admire her hustle. Work ethic is a good thing! But I think I agree with your assessment of her career prospects – it would be smart for her to aim at CW. I’m sure there is much wrong with that movie besides her – and you can’t tell if anyone can act in the Twilight movies or not. I do think she looks WAY better with the Alice Cullen hair then the stuff she is sporting now.

I don’t understand why she gets so much hate for doing exactly what all the other Hollywood actresses do. ALL of them are in it for fame, money and attention. Some of them have better publicists than others. Greene should fire her publicist they’re as bad as Stewart’s. Lainey really hates this girl, I wonder what girl sh** went on between them? As for Greene selling out Stewart and Pattinson, I don’t believe it.

@Janelle – I once asked the same question about why the hate for Ashely Greene and the commenters on here told me all about her famewhoring. I guess for me she isn’t usually, if ever at all, intersting enough for me to click on (except for tonight because there is nothing better and it is a commercial on TV) so I don’t read all the things she does so I don’t understand the hate. So for me I could care less what she is doing. I don’t care about KStew or RPatz so their teen drama doees not interest me. I know Lainey hates her, but I think Lainey is honest and she has a lot of inside contacts so maybe she has her reasons. Also,I think Lainey admires people with real talent or who have major star power and they can behave badly and hustle and do all kinds of bad things and get away with it, but if you can’t back up your behavior with talent than you get called on it more. You know what I realized is actors/actresses get sh*t on for not having talent and for their hustles but singers can be major stars and make a ton of money and only have medium talent or none at all. I can list at least 10 singers who need lots of help with their voice. Everybody loves Brintey Spears and I despise her more than any singer out there because I think she is a talentless hack and I still do not understand why the music industry props her up. There are too many talented and grounded people out there who deserve a chance.

I would squee if Rihanna was Robert Pattinson’s rebound. As farfetched as it sounds initially,Katy Perry is Rihanna’s best friend and Rob and Katy are friends so…maybe the pair of them managed to scrape some similarities together if nothing else but that they both have functioning sex organs. I LOVE this couple because couples that don’t look ‘good on paper’ always are the most interesting.

The problem with women like Jennie Garth is that they always go back to the way they used to look after their men cheat. Maybe he’s a jerk anyway and would have messed around regardless, but take care of yourself anyway. Yes, he should love yrebrand way you are, but c’mon we all know guys are visual. If you could look good now so quickly, how hard could it have been during the actual marriage? In other words, how much was the marriage worth to you to put in the extra effort?
