The only way therapy helps someone who doesn’t see what they’re doing that causes many of their problems is to have people who have a clear vision of it in therapy with her too or allowed to give a detailed background for the therapist. I have known women/men with serious issues in dealing with co-workers/friends/spouses and they go to therapy and spin their version of their problems and life. It doesn’t help for the most part because they refuse and/or can’t and/or won’t see what they are doing to cause some turmoil in their life. If LeAnn doesn’t have people (maybe Eddie (though he has enabled or co-signed a lot of her behavior), close friend, or Brandi (haha)) someone who actually has insight to all sides of the problem, therapy is just a way to sit in front of a paid therapist and spin your story and be a victim. The therapist can probably help LeAnn somewhat, though, without this, though, because they can see through a lot of her excuses or at least give her tools to handle things better.

Dr. Phil would address her boundary crossing as a stepmother (he has strong opinions on step-parenting and boundaries) and why as a once respected singer her need to turn herself into a gossip site ho posting photos of herself ad nauseum, bikinis, that even with her turning into a joke because it’s done so much, she can’t stop, etc. He would get into her insecurities that led to her need for attention and validation. He seems to have a way of doing this without attacking. Calling Dr. Phil, calling Dr. Phil.

Get over yourself. This is a gossip blog, and she is a celebrity. People have rights to their opinions and she puts herself and her thoughts out there literally hourly. You go after everyone who dislikes her so you’re just as invested and playing the holier than thou card. Leann knows there is a mountain of proof of the bullying she’s done- you look right at it and say, nope, it’s not real. All Brandi’s and her fans’ faults. That woman who taped the call had every right to, though I guess in your mind it’s her fault that Leann started the conversation with, “Hey, bitch, you have 5 minutes to say what you need to.” And this is the same person who was taped years back saying she’d get what she wanted by crying for it and making people feel sorry for her. Well, she has YOU anyway.

I agree. I hope while she’s in the lock-up they make her read all the comments that have been posted on this site over the last couple of days. Then she might think, “Gee, tweeting pictures of myself in my bikini all the time doesn’t go over so well.” She’s an attack monster, totally involved in herself and herself only. It’s just ugly! Really, has anyone else in the world put on 50 different bikinis and called photographers each time to take their picture. And that cake with the coffin, what a freak!

I read each & every comment with an open mind & my mind was dealing with replies to so many of them. I actually work in a mental health facility so I’ve seen all kinds of manifestations of behavior from scores of names given to the hundreds of diagnosis names out there. I am not a clinician but I am still exposed to the patients. I am not even going to attempt to throw a diagnosis on Leann I just want to say a few things that bug me so here goes…
if Eddie did tell Leann during their lovely quiet dinner on her birthday that a story coming out is true I think they would have had to have commitment papers served on her she seems way to attached to him to take it this lightly. if she really was having a breakdown she is again handling it in a pretty coherent way. I had a strange thought that maybe Eddie had an revelation of the pain he has caused the mother of his children & may have actually confessed that he misses what he took for granted but again she seems ok to have handled that kind of news so I’m left to think about her tour & new cd & website. Will ticket sales go up because she has weekend passes to make her tours & people will want to go to see her whether for support or to see if she can make it thru & Eddie will have to go because if he dosent what kind of supportive hubby is he. then again what the hell do I know, but it sure makes for a lot of speculation. Whatever is behind the day after turning 30 to take 30 I hope she truly does find peace. I do have to say BPD & NPD are a bitch to deal with.

Oh, this is very suspicious. I do not necessarily believe the explanation, especially since she will be giving concerts in between, huh? If you go in for complete care, you won’t be coming out for concerts, mixing it up like that. She’s not on tour yet, so what is so stressful? She has the man she went after, she has her money and her home and her life, and it appears that she takes lots of vacation time. She didn’t seem stressed when she was doing her acting gig with Eddie and then had her affair with him, which ended his marriage. Now she seemingly has everything she wants, so I’m not buying the stress story.

TMZ has stories about going after @8smiley re the phone call. Leann acts just like someone /w NPD or BPD, some kind of personality disorder. You know, she is most likely loving all the negative feedback. Its merely fuel for her crazy fire in her head. She is trying to get away with no repercussions from that phonecall, and ALL her actions. I hope dearly, she will be forced to account for the hurt and fear she has caused her victims to experience. I have to deal with someone like that, and the only thing you can do is ignore them, not feed the monstrous ego, even if it means having to let go of loved ones caught in their web. When you agitate the NPD, all the victims in the vicinity suffer. I had to go to a counselor, My NPD bully was getting me THAT pissed and so overwrought, it was not healthy for me. Again, I hope she has to pay dearly, but I fear she won’t, she will turn this around in her twisted mentation to be something that supports her crazy view of the people in her web.

I agree strongly with this…come on, that harassing phone call to mrs smiley was OUTTA control! I’m no lawyer but really, it verges on the edge of serious harassment/threatening/stalking…etc.her lawyer probably said “Go get mental help, it’ll show the court/law that you regret your actions won’t happen again.”

if she had pulled a stunt like that one more time mrs. smiley could take legal action

really, put that phone call into the text of angry ex-boyfriend, calls up ex-girlfriend and reams her out.

the ‘exhaustion/stress’ aliby is what celebs/public figures use to mask something very serious underneath

i bet her lawyers warned her ‘Leanne, you PUSHED it WAY to far this time.’
