Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have been voted the Worst Celebrity Role Models of 2006 in a joint poll between Associated Press and AOL.
Brit got a heaping 29% of the vote for the “Worst” role model, while Paris received 18% and the anti-Semitic ranting Mel Gibson got 17%. Way to go Brit! Your commando pics and party hopping have really paid off!
Other names on the “Worst Role Model” list include: Tom Cruise, Michael Richards, K-Fed, Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan and Angelina Jolie.
I know I’m white trash but I disagree that Angelina should be on this list. The woman gives zillions to the poor and adopts orphans. Sure, she broke up Brad and Jen’s marriage but why lump her with tramps girls like Brit and Paris?

right, jamie. a role model is not someone who shows that it is okay to start relationships with someone else’s husband.. even though jen didn’t provide kids for brad, it’s not okay for someone to dangle a family in front of his face and lure him away. i dont care who she is. she can donate money and not be a homewrecker…

For the sake of playing devil’s advocate, what if it was Brad that threw himself at Angelina? What if she told him that she wouldn’t involve herself with him until he and Aniston had split? What if she technically isn’t a home wrecker? Would everybody still despise her anyway? Would you still overlook the good she’s tried to do?

I don’t like Angelina, but I wouldn’t put her near the top of the list. Paris Hilton is number one with a bullet — a complete parasite on society.

Please, I can’t stand Angelina or Brad, however they are significantly more dignified than Britney, Paris, Nicole or the rest of the nameless rabble of Hollywood idiocy!

I totally disagree with Angelina being on this list. I’m getting a bit tired of these lists and polls anyway. Maybe there should be a list of the most annoying lists of 2006.

Yes, Angie needs to be on the list. It just shows that people are onto her with the ever-present media photographing her ever move. She’s nothing but a phony.

Now Julie, It’s evident she had Shiloh just to keep Brad. I don’t think she ever had any interest in having a biological child. She was on birth control before and after. That nailed it in the coffin for me. She knew those adopted kids wouldn’t be enough for him. That’s real plotting.
I love these lists. It shows celebrities what people really think about them, without out the press saying how great they are.
Mel Gibson should top the list. He wields much more power in Hollywood than any of the celebutantes, and he’s chock full of hatred.
