These photos came out over Labor Day weekend but we may as well discuss them now, since I was lazier than Kaiser and Bedhead and didn’t work. Jennie Garth, 40, made an appearance at a pool party in Vegas on Saturday looking like a million bucks. (Radar has a photo of her just in her bikini without the coverup.) Jennie has lost an estimated 20 pounds in the last three months and she didn’t just do it on the heartbreak diet following her sad split with husband Peter Facinelli. She had help from a trainer at her local gym, who explained to US Weekly that they do circuits of free weights interspersed with running. US Weekly also had a quote from Jennie on her diet, which includes “Greek yogurt in the morning, salads and proteins the rest of the day and maybe a cupcake if I’ve been a good girl.” You can tell that she’s put a lot of hard work in and that Jennie isn’t indulging in those cupcakes often.
As for Jennie’s lovelife, there were rumors that a lot of us hoped were true that she was dating her old 90210 costar, Luke Perry. Luke’s rep denied the story, and now there’s a new report that Dylan and Kelly are co-creating a half hour sitcom together, yay!
Rumorfix first reported the news of Perry and Garth’s new project, with her rep saying, “They have been spending a lot of time together recently because the two are working on developing a TV sitcom together. It will be a multicamera half-hour show—currently we have producers and writers and are meeting with networks.”
That’s great news and I hope it happens for these two! Jennie might not be dating Dylan, but she does have a new man in her life. She was seen out with a hot photographer named Noah Abrams a couple of weeks ago. She’s said of dating that “I always said I would rather lick a dirty floor than go back to dating.” It looks like she’s enjoying liking that floor. Work it Jennie!

Seriously? She looks horrible. She looks gaunt, her hair looks awful, and the yellow bikini/black cover up is tacky. I’ve always liked her-and I’m sure she’s going through a rough time and is trying to feel good again-but she looks cheap and way too thin.

She’s always had fine hair. I actually admire her for avoiding the temptation of extensions to make it seem thicker.

Usually i do not care at all about celebrity breakups…however, Jennie is a very stable mother of three children & was a devoted wife..then gets dumped after PF`s Twilight Fame. Jennie could have been very bitter and nasty..but remained composed for her children`s sake. She certainly looks better than me, wish her the best.

I don’t think she looks “cheap”…but the problem with losing too much weight, is it always ages you. She looked great before, but a little fat helps maintain a youthful look in the face. that is why people get fat or fillers injected into their faces. I hope she’s happy. I have always liked her.

Sorry to break it to you but she’s wearing extensions. She was sporting short hair last month when stories of her shocking weight loss were making its rounds. I think she went overboard on the weight loss. She lost all the fat in her face and now she looks like a lighter version of Tanorexic Mom.
She looked her best when she was in DWTS. Hair, weight etc all perfect.

I agree, she is 40, the mother of 3 young children and she is showing whats-his-face that some “real man” will appreciate who she is. Good for her. I was never a 90210 fan, but for some reason I just like this lady.

Good for Jenny.I think her ex-husband’s ego,got the best of him as he rose to stardom during twilight. I have a hunch his star will rapidly decline after twilight and Jenny will not be there to pick up the pieces.

I’ve always liked Jenny but she doesn’t look great to me here. Not toned and healthy, but more like crash diet thin. Hopefully she’ll level off and stay healthy.

I guess I missed the whole 90210 craze so I don’t get why anybody cares about her. She is pretty, though she has that b*thy look to her. I knew her marriage wouldn’t last. When the Twilight films came out it was so obvious. You could see the desperation in her in every photo op with her hubby. I am all about being fit and toned and not fat but she looks terrible. I see someone not eating. Again, you can smell the desperation coming off of her.

Still love her. I just wish she hadn’t gone the reality show route, that always reeks of desperation.
The outfit is awful and the sun is hitting her at an unfortunate angle but she looks good, let’s hope it’s not a result of not eating. Someone give her a part in a TV show, she is fun to watch and has handled this whole cheating/divorce thing with class. Go Jennie!

I adore Jenny Garth. I think she’s sweet and has basically made lemonade from the lemons she was recently handed. Good for her. People forget she’s in her 40′s. She looks great.

She looks god awful. I get that it’s a pool party, but her caked on makeup gives me the impression that she’s not intending to swim. So then why the swim suit? It’s just weird and the outfit is embarrassing. Her body looks pretty fit though.

tooo thin! don’t like the yellow with the black cover up and those clunky shoes. I’d have to go with cheap and tacky as well. I wish her all the best though, seems like a very nice person and she’ll have no problem replacing the ex.

I really like her, but she doesn’t look good here or in the pics without the cover-up. Her stomach is way too skinny. I hope she finds a nice guy who treats her well and makes her feel good about herself.

Not to take away from your meaning, but cheers out there to all the women who don’t need a man to make them feel better; all of us single moms and single people/divorced/widowed/single by choice, etc. She doesn’t need a man to make her happy…she seems like she’s got some good common sense, regardless of her outfit.

Beach party or no you can still dress classy/your age. No matter how hot the bod, at some stage you need to cover up a little more to look good (unless you are actually AT the pool/beach). I do think she looks great, I don’t think her face has suffered much for the weight loss, but the cover up would only look good on a teenager, sorry.

I am really on Team Jennie here — been a fan of hers for a long time. And for a 40 year old mother of 3, yes she looks great. Put it this way — she looks better than I ever have or will look. She’s always been a pretty girl.
That said…her stomach looks Tara Reid-ish to me. Maybe she’s lost too much weight? She could put on 10 lbs and be a little softer looking and still be totally gorgeous. I always thought she looked better a little filled out.
Anyway, I hope if she & Luke are together that they’re happy. She deserves it. She really has had a great attitude during the whole thing.

I’ve always really liked her, and I’ve been rooting for her in her current transition. Divorce after 12 years of marriage and 3 kids has got to be one of the most challenging things to go through. Especially when your ex acts like an asshat. (I always thought he was gay, anyway – not that there’s anything wrong with that).
She does look to me like she’s had quite a bit of facial work done recently. A chemical peel maybe? She’s awfully shiny, like someone who had that done. And definitely some dental work – like someone above already stated – those teeth are way too white, too straight & too long to be truly flattering. But whatever, she’s still cute and I hope things just keep getting better for her.

Hm. She looks good body-wise but then I thought she looked good body-wise before. Her eyes are still sad though and did she get new veneers? If so they’re too big for her mouth and a little too bright and fake-looking.
