You’ll have to excuse me, but I still haven’t seen The Hunger Games, so I barely have any recollection of seeing Jennifer Lawrence as a brunette in general. She exists permanently in my mind as a blonde. I’m assuming Jennifer has gone back to brunette for Catching Fire, correct? IMDB lists the film as in pre-production, so she’ll probably begin filming shortly, thus brown hair. These are photos of Jennifer at Friday night’s Toronto Film Festival premiere of The Place Beyond The Pines – a film in which she does NOT appear. But Bradley Cooper is in it, and Jennifer and Bradley are in The Silver Linings Playbook, and so… I guess she was just supporting a friend.
Jennifer wore this little Dior dress which is okay. It’s not the best, but I don’t hate it either. The ruffled hem is even kind of cute. Mostly, I’m kind of obsessed with her dark hair, her weird makeup and her lips. How have I never noticed that she has such full lips before now? When you change your hair color drastically, different features suddenly “pop”. For Jennifer, I think she simply looks particularly full-lipped as a brunette.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly says Jennifer was hanging out with Kristen Stewart in Toronto. DUN DUN DUN. The two are either Mean Girl-ing each other constantly in the tabloids, or they’re healthy rivals who manage to remain professional about each other. You decide.
Bella, meet Katniss. Katniss, meet Bella. Kristen Stewart had something to smile about in Toronto on Saturday: While doing press at the Intercontinental Hotel, she happily met Jennifer Lawrence for the very first time.
“People who saw them said they were geeking out about each other,” a source tells Us Weekly of the actresses, both 22 and the heroines of their own globally massive fantasy franchises (Twilight and The Hunger Games). Adds the source: “Kristen and Jennifer told friends they had emailed in the past but had never seen each other face to face. They’re big fans of each other.”
(Oscar nominee Lawrence is at Canada’s massive film festival to promote The Silver Linings Playbook, with Stewart touting her own flick, On the Road.)
Indeed, back in March, Lawrence told Access Hollywood that she had emailed fellow superstar Stewart over a supposed feud.
“I wrote her an email because there was this huge, like, article about a Twilight and Hunger Games feud,” Lawrence said. “And we’ve never met before and never spoken . . . “I just shot her an email, and was like, ‘Hey, can’t wait to see more as this feud unfolds!”
To her surprise, Stewart replied!
“[Kristen] wrote me back, and she was like, ‘It’s fine. Welcome to [our] world where everything you say gets turned into [something it's not],’” Lawrence said. “So, she understood.”
Stewart, of course, could use a friend right now. Thursday evening was her very first red carpet since her cheating scandal erupted in late July. The Toronto Star noted that, during a Friday interview, Stewart seemed “tense” and “looking considerably thinner and less poised than she did at the Cannes Film Festival in May.” Her estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson has been in Los Angeles; on Thursday he promoted a new Breaking Dawn: Part 2 trailer at the MTV Video Music Awards, and on Friday, he appeared at the star-studded Stand Up to Cancer telecast.
Hm… interesting. They were “geeking out about each other” and “they’re big fans of each other”? Maybe it’s the truth. Maybe Jennifer and Kristen truly have no hard feelings towards each other and they understand that there’s plenty of room for both of them within the industry. Or maybe they’re not that mature and they were talking about that coveted role in Lie Down In Darkness that both of them really, really want and that Kristen might have already gotten.

Her lips are really prominent in the Hunger Games – to me atleast – and now that I’ve seen the movie – I can’t picture her as a blonde.

They weren’t hanging out together. Miss Stewart was in a seperate section of the Soho House, acting all important and above the other “emotional wrecks” as she calls her acting rivals.
People who were there tweeted that Jennifer was with other people while Stewart stayed in a closed area away from the others.

That’s not true. Lainey was also at Soho House last night and saw both girls hanging out together on the third floor which I guess offers more privacy for its celebrity clients. Lainey saw them leave at the same time. She also mentioned that Kristen didn’t leave with her publicist. Maybe the two met, bonded and continued hanging out elsewhere. Or maybe they had a polite chat and just happened to have left at the same time. Who knows but at least they don’t seem to hate eachother like the media likes to hint at all the time.

I love her, but she´s very much hit and miss when it´s come to red carpet, mostly because she does have a serious case of butterface. Also her make-up is horrid, clumped eyelashes and the light pink lip coulour, ugh.
Concerning the Kristen Stewart bit, I think they´re nothing more than healthy rivals, so JLaw, and other young actresses, prob have some schadenfreude about the KStew´s mini-coopering, esp since JLaw also auditioned for Twilight.

She looks cute, but not spectacular. I’d imagine she and Kristen are friendly to each other but there is some professional rivalry- of which J is clearly the more talented.
I just finally watched Hunger Games though and didn’t get what all the fuss was about. She was really good but I thought the movie itself was mediocre and kind of weird.

Hair is too dark, and she needs too lose the cat eye makeup. It doesn’t do her small eyes any favours. Her lips are naturally full. One of her best features. The dress is plain, but cute. It would look better with different shoes, and the color would look nicer with blonde or black hair and paler skin.

Catching Fire is my favorite book from the trilogy. I think Hunger Games turned out to be a great movie so I am excited to see how Catching Fire turns out.

I normally love cat eye make up but it’s not working here. It makes her eyes look small and unsymmetrical.
I think she looks better as a brunette but normally when women can switch between the two I prefer Blonde.
Her lips were that big in the hunger games. And her hairstyle does her no favors. She’s pretty and has a great body but there’s always something off about her styling.

She NEEDS a new makeup person! They DO NOT know what they are doing! Her makeup is too pink & soft for her hair and the dress. It’s reflecting the flash & washing her face out. They need to match her foundation to her under tones! It’s white! You can have rich color but still wear “light”, “nude” makeup that would highlight her features. She’s so damn beautiful and they never get her makeup right!

UGH, the makeup artists always make her look so wonk-eyed cause they insist on trying to make her eyes look bigger with either cat eyes or heaving lid makeup. They do this cause she has very small eyes and thin lids. Unfortunately the heavy makeup just makes her look like she has a stray eye. she looks MUCH better when the makeup is not fighting mother nature and she is allowed to have her eyes be more natural. She’s 22 she doesn’t need Joan Collins eye makeup for crissakes.

I love her, but I really don’t care for that eye makeup look. Eye liner should be used cautiously, and I think it really only looks good in a smoky eye technique. Eye liner by itself with no shadow effect just looks weird.

Jennifer is a fabulous actress, although Saoirse Ronan is still the queen of young actresses in my opinion. Looks like she will be getting another Oscar nom. I thought she looked FAR better the second night in a different outfit. This doesn’t suit her all.
As someone before said, say what you want about Kristen (and Jennifer, for some) but neither one ever came across as passive aggressive or catty. Both have made a comment or two about other actors in general being this way or that way, but so have Emma Stone, Emma Watson, etc. Never took it as a particular dig at anyone. Plus, Roger Friedman wrote about how he saw them hanging out for a while and that he chatted with them briefly. Roger is not a KStew fan, although he thinks the backlash over the affair is way over the top, so he wouldn’t be PR fronting for KStew. Jennifer may grate at times on me (the I hate myself I’m horrible got old fast), but she’s intelligent and mature. She’d be a good acquaintance/friend for KStew, as KStew could take some major tips.

I don’t get her appeal really, I don’t find her particularly talented. Like Emma Stone she is just one of those IT girls who are being hyped up by HW. Her styling here is not good. If she was wearing a bra underneath the dress it was the wrong one. Her make up is more suitable for a Halloween party than the red carpet and she does not necessary have great legs. She should work with a better stylist.

I doubt very much that Jennifer Lawrence will be Kardashianed……(LOL)!. I think Lawrence is a beautiful woman with a gorgeous figure. What I love most about Lawrence is how she is able to keep herself so grounded amidst the attention she is receiving. A marvelous actress and she seems very likeable. That is all that matters to me.
