The Bravo show sounds like it will hold a lot of fertile ground for exploring alienation, bullying, and the grey areas of teen behavior (i.e. the wrongish, squicky stuff you have to do and/or accept, to cope and to make it through); so that's always good. Honestly, I am relieved that it’s a 20-years-later “reboot,” and as long as they don’t try to redo the actual storyline and plot of “Heathers,” I’m not bothered. The movie has a zeitgeist quality - it's dark 1980's. And it's perfect the way it is. And it has a defined beginning and end. To reboot it is to just... create another teen drama and slap a cheap label on it to get non-teens to watch the first couple episodes. It's stupid. Makes me want to drink a Drain-O cocktail.
