She is a young, talented working woman with millions of fans. You might not care, but a lot of people feel they've grown up with Britney and genuinely care about her as a person. When I hear her song Toxic, I'm instantly taken back to Grade 8 when all the girls in my class talked about how excited they were to go to her concert. When I hear Baby One More Time or Crazy, it takes me back to being 8 years old sitting at home on Christmas Day opening presents and getting her CD in my stocking. There's not many artists out today who are still famous/making music and have that ability to bring people back to the good ol' days in their lives. I think that's one reason why people still genuinely care about Britney and always will. She was always like that cooler, awesome older cousin you loved - and even though she had some major growing pains - she will always be that to some people Why? I find it sad and frustrating that Britney is still such an easy target for tabloids. Maybe she spends time with the boys away from the spotlight. Are they supposed to be on the judging panel with her? Plenty of people work away from home and are great parents. My husband ostensibly a lampy (lighting technician) and goes on tour for months on end. I stay home with the kids. He is an excellent dad and spends all his down time with them. The difference? He doesn't have the world watching and waiting for the 'crazy' to come back. Nobody ever comments on other working mothers.
