As sad as it makes me to say this, I think Katy Perry actually has a little talent. This girl, I just don’t get. Why is she suddenly the “it” girl? She’s got no visible talent. Her SNL gig was a bust. I don’t think she’s unusually pretty. I think I read somewhere her father is rich. He is apparently buying her way through a career in entertainment and someone must be buying it.

I really like Lana’s music. It takes a certain level of sadness to get it, but have you ever listened to her lyrics? They’re good. Better than a lot of nonsensical pop fluff out there. So why the hate?
