Kristen Stewart would never deign to represent a soulless makeup company

Ugh. UGH. Just when I start feeling a pang of sympathy towards poor, pathetic Kristen Stewart, she ruins it with that mouth of hers. Kristen appears on the new issue of Glamour Germany – I’m not enough of a Twihard to know if this is a completely new photo shoot and interview, so all I can tell you is that other sites are running the shoot and interview as if it’s completely new, so I’ll just take their word for it. Obviously, this interview was probably done before The Great Mini-Coopering, and as such, Kristen still has the same twitchy, conceited, self-absorbed attitude that she’s always had. There’s something really, really rich in here, so read the excerpts first:

On the end of Twilight: ‘I’m relieved. Not that it’s finally over but that we told a story from beginning to end. A story I and all my colleagues invested a lot of energy in. I lived in the Twilight world for about four years. That’s a very long time that demands a lot of patience on your part.’

On how she survived the grueling schedule: ‘Thank God, I had the opportunity to do smaller movies like The Runaways, Welcome to the Rileys, and On the Road in between [shooting the Twilight films]. Otherwise I’d probably have turned mad.’

On the industry being littered with phonies: ‘I would never work with people who aren’t really creative and aren’t committed to what they do. Unfortunately, there are a lot of those people out there, they are f**king everywhere, and they try to suck the soul out of you. For example, I would never do a makeup campaign, even though the [final] photos with me would probably look good. Thank you, but it doesn’t interest me.’

On her life right now: ‘I notice that, at the moment, I am in an immensely intense phase of my life. It feels like I could burst from all my energy any minute now. And I don’t want this fire burning inside of me to go out.’

[From Glamour Germany via Amy Grindhouse]

First of all, enough with the petty little swipes at the Twilight franchise – yes, the franchise sucks, and YES, Kristen is one part of why the franchise sucks so hard (it’s not ALL about the source material and the bad scripts, you know?). Enough about “patience” and how she would have gone “mad”. For the love of God, Kristen. You are one of the biggest reasons why the franchise sucks so hard!!!

But really, the money quote is this: “Unfortunately, there are a lot of those people out there, they are f**king everywhere, and they try to suck the soul out of you. For example, I would never do a makeup campaign, even though the [final] photos with me would probably look good. Thank you, but it doesn’t interest me.” She’s TOO HARDCORE to do a makeup campaign. A makeup campaign would be beneath her, although OBVIOUSLY she would look great, of course. Because makeup campaign people suck and they are SO uncreative and soulless and awful but she’s simply TOO AUTHENTIC to even deign to represent a makeup company.

…But she’ll represent a perfume, of course. Balenciaga Florabotanica anyone?

I don’t think anyone would want u to do a makeup camp – thank YOU, but, FYI you’re NOT attractive!

    • only1shmoo says:

And my first thought was, ‘If it’s good enough for Natalie Portman, it’s f—in’ good enough for you, sunshine!’

    • CTgirl says:

Perhaps someone should inform the precious little creative cupcake that is KStew that without the monumental, and I do mean monumental, efforts of various makeup artists that she would still be a struggling little stringy haired stoner from the Valley. What a t*at.

    • zenb!tch says:

A make up company turned her down, didn’t they?

And wasn’t Charlize the face of a perfume once?

      KS = hypocrite Trampire

  2. Mel says:

    *yawn*
    Please disappear into oblivion.

  3. lin234 says:

I think she’s really pretty and takes great photos.

I watched Snow White and the Huntsman and I finally get why everyone goes on and on about her acting. (Only seen the first Twilight movie years ago.) Charlize Theron carried that movie. All I could see in shots with Kristen were her two front teeth. I think she’s always fighting the urge to bite her lips (and it shows she’s trying not to – seems she’s concentrating so hard on not biting her lips that her acting is completely wooden) because it’s the only way she can get her mouth closed for extended periods of time. It was pretty embarrassing to see Charlize act circles around her. Kristen is completely one dimensional. With those acting skills, when the Twilight shine rubs off, she’ll be begging for a makeup campaign.

    • gogoGorilla says:

It’s the heavy, chest-moving breathing that makes me want to hurl things at the screen when she’s on. She is really probably the worst well-paid actress of her generation. Ugh.

The hilarious thing is, she is one of those women who can wear a LOT of makeup and not look like a Halloween wannabe, so she would probably be perfect for a makeup campaign. But I hope no one gives her one. I hope she slinks away into oblivion.

      • kate says:

I think the first director of twilight (Catherine Hardwick) knew kristen personally and cast her as bella very quickly. It seems like she (who seems to be a little “off”) let Kristen completely change bella’s character AND wardrobe ( i know it’s petty but it annoyed me). actors say they put their own personalities into their work, but it seems that kristen is playing bella/snow white, etc as herself. And Kristen cannot act her way out of a paper bag.

    • Amelia says:

Discovered the best drinking game with my flatmates when we rented SWATH – a shot every time she bites her lip, mouth/heavy chest breathing or a huge shot of the Teef. You’ll be hammered before you hit the halfway mark.
What made me laugh the most – “I in an immensely intense phase of my life at the moment”…
      Gordon Bennett -_-

      • MSL says:

I read somewhere that Emily Browning was asked to play Bella but she turned it down. I am so sad she turned it down if that’s true. Not because Twilight would have been better with someone else (the writing still sucks), but Emily Browning could be having K-Stew’s career right now. I think she would have made a great Snow White.

      • Lacie says:

Oh Amelia, you’ve given me a reason to watch the swath movie. I was planning on getting hammered first, but this is better!

LOL@ immensely intense as well…it’s so intense juggling Pattinson and the director…UGH. SIGH. LIP BITE.

      • KC says:

lol, that drinking game sounds like a recipe for alcohol poisoning. I haven’t seen the movie, but knowing her you could pick just one of those three to drink a shot to and still be hammered by the halfway point. Does she still stammer for no reason (as far as the plot is concerned)? If she does you could add that to the list.

    • kay says:

      I know 🙂

the end scene where she is newly crowned and looking out at her subjects makes me burst into giggles at the thought.
      so ridiculous.

she did an ok job with the accent I thought.
But other than that, totally miscast. But now we know why was picked 😉

    • Liv says:

Yup, I almost laughed when she did her “fearful” face for the hundredth time in the film. I didn’t recognize her limited acting skills in Twilight, but then again Bella is probably not so hard to play.

    • Emma says:

Charlize was awful too. So over the top and campy.

    • Gia says:

My husband and I watched it last week and that was the first thing he said!, “what’s with this chick’s mouth?? All I see are her two front teeth!”

  4. Steeze says:

ummm, what exactly is the difference between a make-up campaign and a perfume campaign…?

argh, logic, its a beautiful thing, try it out sometimes.

    • emmieapricot says:

      My thoughts exactly.

      • V4Real says:

She won’t do a make-up campaign but she has no problem wearing make-up on her face during photo shoots and red carpet events. Go all natural and then you can talk about the souless make-up companies but since you are wearing their products shut the f–k up and just smile for the camera.

    • Lacie says:

I’m not sure, but I’ll bet it has to do with ART. And being taken seriously. And being so hardcore.

Shouldn’t she and Franco be together by now? Perfume is ART. Your Highness is ART. They would be ART together.

      • KC says:

“I’ll bet it has to do with ART. And being taken seriously. And being so hardcore.” :Sigh: You just wouldn’t understand, because no one understands what it is like to be her; She’s one of the only people in the world who isn’t a phony so she’s just doomed to be understood.

You are so right, she should date Franco, they’d be perfect together. (Although the stories of them together might make my eyes roll out of my head.)

      • stellalovejoydiver says:

I see it. Didn´t Franco also wrote an effusively flattering critic about KStew for Huntsmen in the HuffPo.

  5. Lara says:

Kristen Stewart is more insufferable than Goop.

  6. marie says:

AH HAHAHAHAHAHA, Geesh Kristen SHUT UP already, you’re not doing yourself any favors. I honestly think she should go the model route and leave the acting to the folks who know how to do it (she ain’t one of ’em)..

I hope one day, when she grows up (which may never happen, it’s looking that way), she looks back on this time and realizes that she came across as a huge a-hole and feels embarrassed..

    • Karen says:

Model? But she has those dead, soulless eyes. If she wasn’t a celebrity, she would not be modeling. Has she never seen ANTM and heard of Tyra Banks’ “smize” catchphrase? I guess not.

  7. original almond says:

She’s shooting herself in the foot so often and consistently that I’m starting to think her IQ must be in the double digits. What a genetic bounty, to be conceited and stupid.

  8. Liv says:

I read the interview in german and the interviewer kept sentences, where she apparently used her favorite word “f-ck”, in english. This brought out even more how stupid she really is. The interview sounds awful. She has a lot of growing up to do.

    • Ann says:

Was the interview translated correctly? I do sometimes take foreign interviews with a grain of salt, because sometimes the translation that gets printed here comes from Google translate, which can yield hilarious (and ridiculous) results. But if someone who speaks German and English confirms its legit, that’s a different story.

  9. geekychick says:

Really? I think the franchise sucks so much because it’s Twilight.
And when Sparkles disses Twilight, that’s charming, but she’s obnoxious when she does the same, although she hasn’t said anything really offensive.
I don’t see anything particularly bad in the interview. When I was 22 I felt like my life is just starting and so many great and important things are happening RIGHT NOW; I also thought most of the people were fake-it’s a syndrome of youth.

    • Lara says:

You are not embarrassed defending this narcississt?

She is 22 going on 12. She disses other actresses in every interview just to feel above but she knows she’s inferior to them in looks and talent and it kills her so she lashes out.

      • geekychick says:

No, I’m not. I don’t know her, so I don’t know her personality-so I wouldn’t know if she’s a narcissist. Furthermore, I’m reacting to the tone, which bothered me, when discussing something her male co-star did numerous times and didn’t get comments of the same kind. I have nothing, against Sparkles, I have nothing against dissing Twilight, I’d just like to see some gender equality in the media.

      • smiley says:

+1 ,nvr heard her talk positively about other actors or her collegues apart frm herself

  10. Meg says:

Of course she won’t be the face of makeup company because you need at least 3 face expressions and she has only 1 (dead eyes + open mouth).

  11. DanaG says:

She really is an idiot. Nothing like a girl who thinks she is smart when in reality she is beyond stupid. Her acting is so below par people with real talent and skills aren’t going to go after her for the roles. Twilight will probably be the biggest thing she ever does. Kirsten doesn’t have the talent and has managed to really piss people off from all walks of life. LOL

    • LeslieM says:

You are right she is an idiot! Whenever she is interviewed on tv she slumps in her chair, has a dead look in her eye and talks about how great her acting is. She can barely answer a question and comes off as very sullen and stupid. She can’t act her way out of a paper bag. I think she a little slow. There is definitely something very wrong with her.

  12. Mia 4S says:

Wow, she really is dumb. I always thought the razing was mostly due to her being terrible in Twilight and then cheating with a married man but no, she deserves the ridicule. She REALLY needs to have some sense knocked into her.

  13. T.C. says:

‘I would never work with people who aren’t really creative and aren’t committed to what they do. Unfortunately, there are a lot of those people out there, they are f**king everywhere, and they try to suck the soul out of you.’

Bitch please! Stop acting like you are so much more hardcore, committed and authentic than anyone else in the business. You are not. You are the biggest cliche walking. Dropping your boyfriend for your romantic interest co-star, hooking up with your director, doing a perfume campaign, dressing up in high fashion couture and attending fashion shows. Kristen Stewart sit your ass down girlfriend. You are starting to make GOOP look modest.

    • Adeli says:

      THIS!

Insufferable twat. And what’s more, I think it’s about to get worse.

TBH, I’m starting to judge Rob a little bit for falling for this poseur crap. I can’t imagine that she’s all that different in private. I mean, your viewpoints remain the same, whether you’re saying it to a journalist, or to someone close to you.

    • ORLY says:

      😀 😀 😀 😀
      !!!!

    • Anname says:

Adeli – don’t you think Kristen has changed (for the worse) in the past few months? Ever since SWATH came out she seems more full of herself. Rob has said he didn’t see the fashion thing coming, so I think a lot of these things about her are relatively new (or just way more pronounced now).

      • Adeli says:

Anname – I’ve always thought of her as arrogant and full of it, but I agree that it has gotten worse ever since SWATH. I think she started to believe her own hype. The thing that bugs me the most is that she’s always validating herself by invalidating her peers. What she does is “art” while they “sell themselves” They have “fake personas” whereas, oh my gosh, she simply couldn’t be fake even if she tried, because she can’t lie *snort* I guess she felt she was having an “authentic” experience with Rupert behind Rob’s back, not actually lying to him.

      • meg says:

I think we can thank Rupert for the conceit and Liberty for the unexpected expedition into fashionista world.

  14. Brown says:

Nahhh guys, it’s not that she’s insufferable, we just like, we just don’t f*cking get it, you know? I mean, it’s just like, it’s like she’s SO genuine, that she has to hide her realness so that every f*cking person doesn’t latch on like f*cking parasites dude. There’s like, all this energy burning inside her, and then there’s the f*cking paparazzi and it’s like BOOM in a f*cking mini cooper dude. And I mean how is she supposed to control that f*cking energy you know? Her fire might go out and then sh*t, what would she do then, f*cking fade away. Ugh, I f*cking wish I could explain this better… man, it’s all about the f*cking art, and we just don’t understand the INTENSITY of the art. If we could just wrap our heads around the f*cking crazy intense philosophical state of her life, and the absolutely authentic and super f*cking elevated level of her emotions, we wouldn’t f*cking judge her. Give her a f*cking break.

  15. pretty says:

    she is so pretty.
compare her face to Goop right next to her in the main page. LOL…
I have never understood gyneth peltro’s appeal but lol. Peltro looks like a frog. and stewart is so so pretty. but i hope her career goes to garbage after bd2. ^_^ she is the most useless actress on Hollywood. and the money she makes..ugh so not deserving

  16. booboocita says:

Everything that could be said about her has been said (and I agree — what a turd), so I’ll just add this: that sweater she’s wearing in the photos is all kinds of fugly.

  17. Aria says:

Let’s face it, Kristen. Your acting skills are the same as Blake Lively: almost none existant. Fun to watch sometimes but not Meryl Streep material.
You need to move on something different like modelling. You have a pretty face though.

  18. mln76 says:

The girl is so arrogant and untalented she really has brought most of the hate on herself. I mean someone like say Natalie Portman is pretentious and all but at least she CAN act K-Stew is pretty terrible in everything I’ve seen her in. I kind of wanted her to be good just cause at one point I found her whole hardcore real thing just a bit refreshing. The thing is she’s not hardcore…she’s a little twit who thinks she’s so much smarter and prettier then everyone else and if you don’t see that all that lip biting IS acting well you just don’t get it. I’m over the dumb cheating scandal and I don’t think she should be burned at the stake I just think she’s awful.

  19. nate says:

she’s so ignorant. does she think that make up artists aren’t creative and comitted? i can’t even do cat eye without poking my eyes.

    • Izzy says:

Good point nate! Wonder what’ll happen now when she’s on set, getting her hair and makeup done? Can’t you just see some makeup artist desperately wanting to make her look awful, but not wanting to tank their own reputation as a professional makeup artist? What a dilemma!

  20. serena says:

I guess Rupert-Whatever was SO ‘creative’ and absolutely COMMITTED, not to his family and marriage of course, but to banging her.. you got to be creative and committed to do that! LOL

  21. Anname says:

She has a niche in acting, and does have talent, just in a certain type of role. But the comment about the make-up campaign is just ridiculous, there is no defending that.

If you take all her interviews from the past few months, and throw in the cheating scandal, it seems like she had some sort of mini-breakdown type thing going on? She seems so strange lately- even moreso than her usual odd self.

  22. EmmaStoneWannabe says:

Wow could this girl be any more full of herself? “I wouldnt do a shoot like that, but the pics of me would turn out so great” is basically what she is saying. Lol what a farce

  23. Amy says:

The chin, the Dumbo ears, theeth that would make Bugs Bunny jealous and the dead eyes paired with everlasting bitchface is called UGLY where I live. But HW can make every average to ugly person look pretty.

Google her images without any photoshop and make-up and she’s frightening.

  24. deb says:

Why on earth would anyone feel a”pang of sympathy” for this no-talent unattractive Hollywood brat?

  25. tonina says:

No wonder its sort of difficult for her to not mouth-breathe. She needs it open since she keeps inserting her foot in it.

  26. Miko says:

The pictures are from 2010 but the interview is brand new. They only thing that hasn’t changed in that time is her arrogance, stupidity, and lack of talent. I don’t know why anyone would be surprised that she’s such a narcissistic, inarticulate snot, she’s been this way for many years, even before she took on Twilight. She just needs to take her pretentious, untalented ass and go completely away.

    • JS says:

When you say “brand new”, the interview was still before “Trampire-gate”, right? So it doesn’t reflect the effect having her whole world destroyed might have had on her view of life? I get what everyone is saying about her attitude but, to be fair, that was then and this is now! I suspect (and hope)Kristen Stewart has done a whole lot of growing up over the past two months.

      • Dani says:

Highly doubtful that she grew up. Honestly, it wouldn’t have come out in the open unless she was caught, and pretty much her attitude would have stayed the same; forever ungrateful. I’m sure her next public interview will still be arrogant and selfish on many different levels, but she’ll probably leave out Twilight etc.

  27. lucy2 says:

She should probably get that “burning” feeling checked out by a doctor.

  28. Ari says:

She needs to just go away.

  29. Snap crackle pop says:

They photoshopped the hell out of that Glamour cover. Actually, I think they did a great job- especially on changing the scale/shape of her forhead and changing her skin tone.

  30. Blue says:

The cover picture barely looks like her. I’m not going to bother commenting on the rest. It’s already been said and my eyes hurt.

  31. The Original Mia says:

Can’t act, but has loads of pretentiousness. Gotta have the 1st to at least be tolerable with the 2nd.

  32. E says:

And to the bitches on this nasty site! Your envy shines through. Especially you Kaiser. She can never do anything right, cannot act. Yet she is on every Oscar prediction list even as long shots. Florabotanica is UK. No 1 best selling perfume, best online perfume sales for 2012. She must be such a loser.
You are an awful human being. The envy shines through. Try reporting without the envy and hate clouding your judgement. By the way, even for Us, Florabotinica is tracking better than expected.
She works hard and deserves her success.

    • Brown says:

She is on EVERY Oscar prediction list!? OMG thank you for this info. I had all but given up on my dream of becoming a movie star, but now that I know that KStew is consistently considered to be legitimate Oscar material, I realize I still have a shot. Shit, I could be the next Meryl Streep. See you bitches in Hollywood, gotta go pack my bags.

    • Dredz says:

On Oscar’s list??? Which one? She has never even been nominated in the past years and this fragrance itself is not even on FiFi’s award nominated list.

    • Amelia says:

      Yeah, E?
Check the site name again. It’s called Celebitchy for a reason and we reserve the right to rag on arrogant, little toe-rags such as this one.

      • j.eyre says:

Ha. This is what I was thinking – why would I want to read about celebrities without judgment and catty inferences? That’s most of the fun.

    • Eh, WHAT Oscar prediction list is she on? I’d love to see a link to that (delusional) list…

    • Izzy says:

      Go away you Twi-hard TROLL.

    • Emma says:

Hahhaaha. The Oscar predictions list of you and your Twihard friends don’t count. This girl doesn’t have a chance in hell.

  33. Dredz says:

She has neither the beauty (Liv Tyler, Cindy Crawford) nor the charisma (Pink, Ellen) to be in cosmetic adverts anyway. I wouldn’t buy anything she’s offering, I think she’s the one who’s soulless and extremely boring.

  34. Fudge you, I'm going to Guam! says:

LOL wow…Keep digging your grave girl

  35. Heebeegeebee says:

I think her comment “even though the photos with me would probably look good.” says it all. Talentless, stupid and VAIN.

  36. KelBear says:

I think being on the cover of a magazine and doing a makeup campaign is pretty much the same thing. They both cake on the makeup and use photoshop. So why does she do cover stories?

  37. ladybert62 says:

Sounds like she has been talking to her best friend again (her mirror).

The only person that she loves is herself.

  38. Hakura says:

I really wish this girl would just… Go away… Take her misplaced arrogance, & tons of Twilight-franchise money & STFU.

  39. christineosity says:

I feel like if she had a not so great nose job she’d look like Ashley Greene’s less glamorous twin.

  40. Julia _S says:

There is NO difference between doing a make-up ad or a perfume campaign.

This is just yet more evidence of Stewart’s enormous capacity for hypocrisy and self-importance.

I have lost all respect for Robert Pattinson. He’s either easily led or scared of Stewart to get back together with this pretentious douche.

    • Hakura says:

…Or if there -is- some sort of agreement in place to keep them a couple until this last movie is finished, for the sake of keeping everyone’s minds on Twilight, even off-set.

Seeing the 2 main character love interests really dating, it’s like they’re just an extension of their ‘characters’ in real life.

  41. TheOneAndOnlyOnly says:

You’re right Karen she can’t even model not a spark of personality unlike the Supermodels of the 90s each of which was almost a statement in themselves; and can’t we get some fresh faces on mag covers – we’ve seen enough of this stupid spoiled brat.

  42. benj says:

She might got offered from several brands by the time interview were taken but now she’d better ask if there’s still anyone interestd to gv her a job lol

  43. benchan says:

She might got offered from several brands by the time interview were taken but now she’d better ask if there’s still anyone interestd to gv her a job lol

  44. ruby says:

I’ve seen that cover pic on the cover of the French Glamour magazine a while ago. It’s not new by any means.

  45. muppet_barbershop says:

    1. I am not a Twihard, but I am an unrepentant Krisbian. Not even realizing that Robsten was real has curtailed it. That’s how “bad” it is. You’ve been warned. 2. Accustomed as I am to her awkward phraseology (she has a largish vocabulary but at the same time blurts certain things out with too little thought, which can be confusing), I don’t think she means that her fellow actors who do makeup campaigns are soulless and will suck the life out of you; rather, she means that the makeup companies and the people who work more directly for them are like that, and that those folks prey on actors in a way. Not that this is 100% better to say, but still, it’s less egregious. 3. She is really young and often feels vulnerable despite talking tough. She has three big brothers and is a potty mouth, but she’s also frightened of her own shadow. She’s arrogant, but not as much as she often seems; she is inherently contrary, saying things that go against each other, which makes her sound b*tchy. 4. No, this doesn’t mean I think she’s good in Twilight. I enjoy that stupid crap, but it’s not well-acted by anyone. I do think most of her other work ranges from decent to very good. For example, SWATH was quite worthwhile.

    • muppet_barbershop says:

…Also, she has waxed poetic (or whatever her version of poetic would be called… heh) about the photographer on the Balenciaga shoot. She probably genuinely believes that was totally different, because she had a positive experience. She is very self-centered. I’ve seen great examples of empathy and normalcy from her, but they are getting less frequent.

  46. cookie says:

She’s a real wanker. Not many women I would call that but yikes..she really is.

  47. Ash says:

Oh, I get it. So when Kristen talks about 4 years of Twilight being hard on her, it’s a huge swipe. But when Robert Pattinson spends years bluntly stating how stupid the books are, the films are, the character he played, the author, the romance etc, that’s just SO funny, and cute and smart and sexy.

    Thanks for the double standard.

  48. Carolyn says:

Has Kristen forgotten she was in the kids’ movie Zathura? I just can’t take her seriously with all this talk about “art”.

Team Emily. Browning would have been fabulous as Bella. Oh what could have been. We could have had BrowPattz instead of Robsten 🙂

  49. Mary says:

She is an artist. She has just elevated pretentiousness into a new artform. Go travel, my darling and educate yourself. R

  50. M says:

    Never say never

  51. Jennifer12 says:

But of course. I can’t figure out why men go so mad over this woman who is just a try hard, hypocritical wannabe. Maybe because she’s so in love with herself?

    • Jennifer12 says:

She has CHOSEN to do big name films and perfume ads, and she bites the hand that feeds her!? I wish someone would deposit this spoiled brat in the South Bronx or the Sudan or somewhere that would make her see what it’s truly like to have it hard. The only good thing is that she will eventually kill her own career and then she will say it was because she was too authentic and hardcore and spoke out about Twilight.
