You said what I’ve been trying to explain to people for years. She is a plus-size model. ‘Plus-size’ here is modifying *model*, not person. The type of model she is, is plus-size. Just as hand models model hands but are not hands, and similarly for hair models, plus-size models are not (usually) plus size. They are plus-sized in comparison to straight-size models, who are, generally, size 0-2.

Wower’s, just spent the last 10 mins trawlling through google images of this gorge chick. There are a million pickies. She sure works a lot. Defo has an 80′s & 90,s glama-zon vibe going on. Reminds me of a hybrib between cindy crawford and brooke shields. Yes Robyn in paunfully gorge.

I think that has more to do with people associating “plus size” with “Fat”. She’s 6’2″ with size 10 1/2 feet, she is definitely bigger than your average woman even if she is a thin 6’2″. She has to shop at the big and tall stores for women, that is a plus size to me. Same with just having large breasts, I’m smaller waisted than Robyn…but because of my chest I’m -still- considered plus.

People also don’t take height into consideration when they think of size. A size 10 on someone who is 5’2 vs 5’6 are two very different things.

I totally agree, this looks to me like a regular woman size woman, her being ” plus size” really does send a horrible message and instead of helping is making things worse.

Sorry. I find her too plump. I want to see elegant swans in the fashion pages and not “real” women, so called. (I am 5 10 and a size 4 and a B-cup and very real). This is all PC pressure on the media, once more.
