This is your disclaimer, Twihards: this is probably total BS. But I’m still going to write about it because it is FUNNY. Star Magazine is going after my heart and my dreams this week by reporting that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren’t really “back together” and that they’re just doing this reunion thing because the studio wants them to. But the real kicker is that when they first broke up, Kristen went around to all of their friends and said that Rob was bad in bed. TWIHARD MELTDOWN PART DEUX.
A source is reportedly claiming that Kristen is going around saying Rob isn’t good in the love making department and that they aren’t really back together.
A source tells Star that Kristen is going around saying that Rob didn’t please her sexually. That couldn’t be true … could it?
“Rob couldn’t believe that Kristen was telling everyone that he’s bad in bed,” the source says. “Not only did she cheat on him, she humiliated him. Now that he’s heard about the rumors she’s been spreading, there’s no chance [he’ll take her back].”
Their reunion is part of a carefully orchestrated publicity stunt. They’e going to try and fool the fans and press and pretend everything is okay, at least until the final Twilight movie hits theaters in November.

Yesterday, Us Weekly claimed that Rob and Kristen have moved back in together. I got a chance to read the full story in the print edition, and there were a few more details. Apparently, Sparkles was not able to resist Kristen’s pleading to get back together, but Sparkles isn’t eager to go back to the way things were before. Kristen and Rob have decided to “share a new home in the LA area” after Rob sells his Los Feliz home which “has too many memories… it stings” (like the time Sweaty Kristen came home from the gym, wearing his clothes, and smelling of Rupert Sanders, perchance?). A source tells Us Weekly, “Rob is extra-sensitive right now. He’s insecure.” And whenever he goes out in LA, girls are always trying to hit him up, “but he never engaged with them for more than a few minutes.” Because his sparkle-heart belongs to Dita Von Teese.
Hollywood Life’s source says that Kristen and Rob are “in such a better place now” as well. HL’s “source at Summit Entertainment” (massive conspiratorial side-eye) claims, “Summit is ready for the press tour with both of them. They have no qualms whatsoever for them to work together [like] they have in the past. Summit is no longer scared of the outcome now that time has passed and things appear to be getting back to normal.” All business. Literally. And just in case you were worried about the media lack of catering to Twihards, People Mag has chimed in with yet another story too:
Despite a cheating scandal that almost destroyed their relationship, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been spending more and more time together.
When Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, met up in Los Angeles over the weekend of Sept. 15, speculation grew that the Breaking Dawn stars would rekindle their love.
Since then, the couple have continued to meet up, spending time together at a friend’s guest house in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
“Rob was completely heartbroken and was saying there was no way he could ever forgive her,” a source told PEOPLE recently. “But not speaking to someone that you thought was your end all, be all, is clearly harder than he expected.”
Pattinson’s friends want him to move on because “they don’t want to see him hurt again,” the source added. “But it’s easier said than done.”
Meanwhile, a different source says that the actor’s pals “keep telling him he needs some time and space, but they all think they will be a couple again, maybe as soon as they are together for the Twilight promos.”
At least for the moment, the couple seem to be taking a few days apart. The On the Road actress arrived in Paris solo on Wednesday for Paris Fashion Week. Stewart, a spokeswoman for Balenciaga, is expected to attend the fashion house’s show on Thursday.
Poor, sad Sparkles. I do feel for him. This is his longest and most significant relationship, right? He was 22 or 23 when they got together, and I’m guessing he doesn’t have a ton of other significant relationships he can use as a “standard”. This is his “normal”. And that makes it even sadder.

That LOL worthy scene was from New Moon, and even the director said later that that’s the scene he regretted most in the movie. It was so cheesy.
Like so many scenes in the movie they just didn’t know how to shoot it. Rob can’t run like a man, he’s tip- toeing. The darn clothes they are wearing are embarrassing. They didn’t need to be running at all. Or they could ‘ve made it look badass, not romantic.
Kristen looks good, her hair is better than the vampira thing going on in BD2. It was a scene done completely wrong.
As cheesy as the story is I know that a good director could’ve made these movies look better. Some movies with bad scripts have been shot beautifully.
I remember leaning over and asking the friend I was with – I never finished the book – if Bella was supposed to be the reincarnation of a vampire he knew in the olden days. I thought it was a flashback or some big plot twist, since they’re in those stupid pioneer clothes.

The real test is in the next few months when he will be in Australia, Iraq and the UK to shoot his films. By then, he will be too far away to even remember her. He is a good guy, and no matter what, has a soft spot for women. Kristen employing the oldest trick in the book by crying won her the first battle but for how long? Until recently, he hasn’t really been exposed to a lot of people but he is starting to and that would make all the difference. Trust me, her pretentiousness cannot survive without him. Whose reading list is she gonna copy now? What about the access to these young, west London , talent set? It was all because of him. He is good boy. His good karma will come soon enough.

Good points, all. I particularly like what you said about the reading list and access to the young London set. Would KStew be a “reader” if she weren’t with Pattinson? Would she have an “edgy” rep if she weren’t hanging with Tom Sturridge — who is Pattinson’s friend, not hers — and the like?
Come to think of it, I can name many of Pattinson’s intimates (Sturridge, Katy Perry, Reese Witherspoon) and none of Stewart’s. Does she have friends — persons her age that she hangs out with and in whom she confides, not older persons who feel protective of her (like Jodie Foster)? Who is she, if not the chick who hangs with Rob Pattinson, reads deep books, and is too cool and edgy for almost everyone else? And now I’m wondering if getting him back is less about love and more about reclaiming her identity …
Her life crumbled without him, this is why she’s upset. She doesn’t get that Twilight fans didn’t like her because she was always very standoffish and repulsed by them, ungrateful of their support. They liked her until she started dating Rob. Rob fans never liked her at all. The public mocks her acting and hates her attitude. Critics don’t like her much either, nor do gossip bloggers. They were a young power couple who raised the level of interest in them by protecting their relationship when everybody else flaunts theirs. She got popularity because she was dating the new heartthrob.
Notice how she does not have friends of her own. Her acquaintances sell her out to tabloids. Now one of them actually laughed when a friend referred to her as a snake and selfish on Instagram “I found a snake in my front porch” “Maybe it was looking for a friend #kristenstewart #selfish” “lol I love you”. Notice how she copies Rob’s reading list, as if she picks up a book ever. She’s super inarticulate and illiterate.
She knows how much people were interested in her because of him which is why she always wore his stuff and dropped subtle hints about their relationship.

I don’t even care about Twilight or Sparkles or even the Mini Cooper of Doom but I have to admit, I’m starting to feel bad for him. God, let’s hope the boy had a real first love before this sh*t happened. You know, non-spotlight, teenage romance that ended for reasons that had nothing to do with skeevy older men canoodling with his girl. Everyone deserves that. THIS is just insane and so not what a first serious relationship should be. I want to pat his head and take him out for ice cream and beer.
What is also sad, is that he seems to be stuck with some version of this barnacle of a relationship because of of work commitments.
It’s why you don’t sh*t where you eat. It can work, sure. Many people meet their partners at work but if it goes wrong, my god, it really is THAT much worse.
One single bad relationship can ruin you forever. That’s for sure. You’re just not the same again, or see love the same way, or yourself, after being in a relationship where you’re being abused, or humiliated or cheated on. It’s just one of those horrible things that can really eat you up inside and tear you apart.

I completely agree with you Annie. Currently going through something similar with my ex who cheated who is pleading to get back together. I am definitely not the same and don’t think I will ever be. How do you trust again? Love again? One day life is how you always dreamed it would be and the next it’s irretrievably broken. It’s this foreign feeling and you almost don’t recognize yourself and what is happening, it feels surreal. You are torn because you still do love the person, but scared to be hurt and humiliated again. Heartbreak is no fun.

Not for ever, because then you heal, you learn, and you find that person that mends your heart, trust me, my wife was sooo hurt and broken when I first met her, but now she knows she’s loved and respected and means the world to her partner, and it’s such a joy to see her heal more and more with every day.

Are you a fan? I honestly got the impression from your comments that you despised the guy for his “weakness”. Just bear in mind that he has never ever said a word about any of this. He obviously hates that his private life is up for discussion in the media and his strategy is just to ignore it all. Much of what is said about him is distorted at best, fabricated at worst. He just sails on by ignoring the lot of it. I admire that totally, however poor it might be in PR terms. Anname, at any other time I would agree with you 100%. I’ve always respected Rob for not buying into the HW PR machine. But this is an abnormal situation and it’s not going to die down for a while. He is in an industry where public perception is important, and the public perception of him right now is not a very good one. Being a stubborn Taurus, he’ll most probably continue to keep mum, and that’s absolutely his right, but it is damaging to his reputation nevertheless.
As for your comment about the type of fans he “needs/wants”, I’m sorry, but that’s a ridiculous, elitist thing to say. He needs fans, period. Whether that fan is a teenager who discovers a novel like Cosmopolis by supporting her favourite actor, or a Cronenberg fanboy. Let’s not elevate one type of fan above another. And although Rob doesn’t owe any of his fans an explanation about how he conducts his personal life, it’s inescapable that fans will have an opinion about it. Even those Cronenberg fanboys are not above putting in their two cents. And guess what, he’s being called a sparkly idiot yet again all over the blogosphere.
Adeli- I get your point about needing fans, regardless of what type. But I also think he does not want to be a “movie star”, and isn’t going to change his values just to chase fans. Look at his upcoming movie choices- smaller films with great directors that he respects. That is the path he is on now. I am sure he will make a few more big Hollywood movies at some point, but for now he is moving away from that.
I am sure he doesn’t want to lose any fans, but I have to respect that he isn’t going to do something he doesn’t want to do just to appease the public, regardless of the outcome. That is strength of character imo, and I admire it.
Even people who don’t want to be movie stars NEED the audience. No fans = no money = no more projects. As simple is that. He is in the film industry. An industry, a business. Money comes first. If he’s all about the art he never would’ve signed up for Potter and Twilight, both targeted to teens, both meant to be commercial projects, as all teen projects are.
Let’s stop seeing him as the embodiment of perfection. He likes the attention too, he’s modeled before, he’s great at late night shows. Nothing wrong with that. But let’s not pretend he’s some Paul Dano.
If he wants to be taken seriously he doesn’t just need better roles – he needs to learn how to play the game. Allowing publicists to paint him as a spineless sensitive insecure dude is a dumb thing that will not go over well with the new audience he’s pandering to: men. Cronenberg, Saddam Hussein movies, action thrillers, a Scorsese script. Nobody is going to buy this new badassness because we know who’s wearing the pants in his relationship and who’s running his PR, selling his life like this when is all he ever wanted to avoid, with total disregard for his feelings.
All this hopelessly romantic dude thing is going to do for him is to keep the audience he desperately wants to shake-off: the twihards. The cougars. The moms. The girls who won’t see Cosmopolis but will totally check out Water for Elephants. If that’s the case, start signing up for rom-coms already. Don’t try and sell and image of seriousness and privacy that you can’t back up.
Jeez Annie, slow down. I am sure Rob and his people fully understand the consequences of staying silent, and what effect it will have on his career/public perception. I know it is just too bad that they don’t have the benefit of your expertise, but Rob is going to make his own decision. You may disagree with it, but it seems like he has decided that being true to himself is more important than “playing the game”.

Annie, I am frustrated too. All this about him being this super sensitive, bad-in-bed crap is beyond annoying; meanwhile the instigator of all this mess comes out like a winner parading in Paris.
I understand he will not say a word and do the PR game. I admire that while still wanting to shake him till his teeth rattle.
We have to remember that this is just today’s gossip. Lets see how he is during the BD2 promos and the sound bites we get during his interviews…. It will be a ball for sure. He is such a pro at handling it himself that all this noise today will vanish when he starts making those appearances.

But that is the problem. Rob doesn’t understand. This is why you need a publicist. To help guide you through your career post global success and a public scandal. His career has been moving incredibly slowly, going absolutely NOWHERE while guys like Joseph Gordon Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Jesse Eisenberg, Ryan Gosling, Garrett Hedlund a more continue to snatch his wig over and over with box office hits, serious actor cred and award nominations. This is the perfect time for him! He needs to seize the opportunity and take advantage of his status and stop being this girl’s doormat and/or nodding along to whatever a studio tells him to do. Twilight will do fine, Kristen will do fine. What about him? this was his chance to get away from it all and he’s there staying quiet because he cannot make an effing decision and learn to manage his own career!
He needs an Ari Gold right now. His team keeps dropping the ball. His projects keep getting worse distribution deals because they KNOW he can’t open a movie.

He is not stupid, and if he is choosing to do things differently than Gosling, Garfield etc, he probably has a reason for it. His definition of success may be different than yours. @Annie: I pretty much agree with everything you’ve said. Even if Rob doesn’t want to play “the pr game” he is in a business where he has to stay afloat. If he doesn’t want to play he should just get out now.

Actually it makes more sense, since females mature earlier than males. So it makes more logical sense for a younger woman to hook up with an older man than vice versa.

Fact: Robert Loves Kristen but I also believe that the chemistry between Rupert and Kristen was hotter. Kristen has probably had many lovers – guys on film sets; we’re all looking to get our socks knocked off by someone. If they are back together??? it will be short term. I do hope RP finds someone who can teach him to be a fabulous lover but he’s hooked on the Kristen drug for now. Kristen will continue to search for a better and better partner; Rob will be a distant memory in a few months for her. I can’t envision KS settling down – ever. It’s all about the career and if she finds someone who will promote her career as well as RP does she’ll move on to that guy. I don’t believe she ever said that. She is too pretentious to say things like that. Robert Pattinson made his point by being silent. He is not playing. They can write all the lies they want but he will always be vindicated in the end.
Mary, I’m happy you said it. So many “fans” are fuming that he stays silent. He’s keeping mum not to be the clown as they try to picture him. Whatever he can say they will twist his words to make things even more pathetic.
