Mariah was one of the first, if not THE first major pop star to use Nicki as a guest rapper in one of her songs, back in ’07 or ’08. They even filmed a video for it together. It was for a planned remix album that got dumped at the last minute, so a lot of people probably aren’t aware of it. Anyway, my point being that Mariah seemed to champion her & I’m sure Nicki hasn’t forgotten the favor. This feud sounds fake.

Of course – enough has been posted and written on the internet and blogs (including this one) what actually goes on behind the scenes of these “contests” I’m surprised people take them seriously – remember television is driven by ratings first and foremost if quality emerges that’s fine, but not necessary. Is it just me or in that first pic why does Niki minaj look like an alien, not really human, her management team must be splitting their guts that such a dopey talentless trick got this far and is taken this seriously at least by some.

I totally buy that the producers are egging on the feud….but I also bet they end up at eachother’s throats….oh and I am Team Mariah all the way on this one-she may be a spoiled difficult person BUT she can sing and has been charting for 2 decades..Minaj is all image and is annoying as hell.
