But, I decided to go into the show open minded and give them the opportunity to prove me wrong. Um, I see Doug as more of a pedophile now. And, he comes across as extremely insecure about his relationship with Courtney. He says one thing when Courtney is not around, and then backs up her stupidity when she's there. It seems he is deathly afraid of losing his child-bride if he doesn't back her in every way. And yet, he isn't happy with some of her behavior and attire, but only expresses it when she's not there. He also looks at her in a creepy sexual way most of the time,and it makes me want to gag, then handcuff him. As for Courtney, I have a 12 yr old daughter who is way more mature than she is. Courtney has no social skills, and cannot get along with people. She comes across as a spoiled babyish brat who has to have her own way all the time. She didn't even understand during group therapy that the group was sharing not so pleasant experiences that were perhaps turning points in their life, and they expected the same from Courtney. I understand that at her age she may not even be able to pinpoint a turning point in her life, but she could have at least given the group something other than what a perfect childhood she had. My 12 yr old understood what Courtney did not. I'm sure as a child Courtney had some sort of experience that affected her in some way. Perhaps a fear, or death of a relative, or being bullied, since she claims to be such an expert on bullying. Then to top it off, when Dr. Jenn called her on this, she insulted the other group members, some who had opened up their hearts. Courtney's main problem is Courtney, because she thinks the whole world revolves around her. She never asks how anyone else is doing, she mainly giggles about herself nonstop, and her child molesting husband giggles with her. AND GUESS WHAT DOUG? YOU WILL LOSE YOUR IMMATURE, SELF ABSORBED, BIMBO CHILD, BEFORE THE 4 YEAR MARK, PROBABLY SOONER.
