The Marilyn Monroe-inspired leggings

In what way are these leggings inspired by Marilyn Monroe? Was she wearing them when she serviced the Kennedys?

And better yet, who says any of Lindsay’s fans have a clue who Marilyn was? They were all born in the 1990s….

I can’t abide it when celebs and their witless publicists pointlessly evoke Marilyn Monroe (or a “young James Dean”) just to get hits on their product websites. Give it a rest already!

Ohhhh sorry i am over 50 and luv leggings but i still have terrific legs and dont really need them if i have a tan, they are so comfy though and oppps yes i do wear short tops and a leather biker jacket, oh hell u lot r gonna slate me i say providing u look good in them then no problem its just the ones who cant wear them themseves that give us a hard time…..leggings forever

Some Tips on Wearing Leggings for Mature Fashionistas:

- Stick to basic, dark colors—dark blue, black, brown.

- Wear them under dresses that hit at least mid thigh or long cocoon type coats and avoid short, unflattering tops (sorry—that includes baby doll tops).

- Pair them with a cute pair of ballet flats, but avoid the urge wear them with heels.

- If you have thick ankles, avoid leggings like the plague.

- Last, but not least, throw them out the moment they become too stretched, discolored, etc.

p.s. Avoiding like the plague also goes for those not in possession of a fat-free ass.

Somehow I don’t think there are enough Lezlo fans or fashionistas (what kind of a fashonista still wears leggings?) to make those things fly off the shelf. I’m guessing maybe her frends and family are buying them to make her stock rise. Maybe she’s hoping people will see she’s not a complete f-ck up and hire her again. Yeah right.
